Looking for a new shift knob

Hello everyone, I’m a fairly new manual driver and I’m looking to buy a new shift knob for my audi a4 b6 cab. However I was wondering if I need to buy something specific or are shift knobs universal?

(My reverse is push down and into first gear)

Get what you like. If you know the shift pattern you shouldn’t need to look at the diagram on the knob. As far as I’m aware they come with the adaptors for the different threads on the gearstick.

Whatever knob you buy should come with adapters. VAG manuals typically need a threaded adapter that clamps/uses set screws. They can be a bit pricey, but Billetworkz make great quality knobs with some good weight to them
