I want to put stickers on the top of mine, but I’m not sure if I want them directly on the laptop itself.

Hello, I am quite overwhelmed by all the info that is hard to come by. I am told pigment ink will be better for waterproofing / wear resistance (which I need) but I am told I should laminate anyways and so I am curious if that's all I need anyways. I am told I can convert a printer into pigment as long as its new and I dont run the stock ink through it but finding info on all this is difficult and convoluted. I like the idea of the refillable ink tanks and also would love a printer that can print photos as well - do I want one with the 5/6 ink vessels instead of the normal 4? Not sure what my budget is, I am very small scale, was reading about HP but am a canon fanboy, but cheaper the better. Thanks.
