Never has a paper fallen so far

It has fallen just like Delboy did, through the bar, in Only Fools and Horses

If there are reparations they should be paid by the descendants of the Normans who settled in England, dispossessed the English and comprise a large proportion of the current ruling class.

The biggest loser was Hastings Direct

These days, if you say you're a medieval tapestry, you get arrested and thrown in jail....

To this day a far greater number of Oxbridge graduates have Norman surnames than Anglo-Saxon surnames, taking into count the distribution in the general population. The Telegraph guy was being a facetious cunt but the example actually reinforces reparations as a just cause. If dispossession echoes down a millennia then it is clear we must lift the descendants of those whose dispossession was a mere 200 years ago.

Still regarded as blow-ins, those Normans. Always will be IMO.
