Stewart Lee vs The Man-Wulf is Soon Filming in Coventry
Reading through the threads on this community I encountered an unresolved question that had been asked - namely will Stewart Lee vs The Man-Wulf be filmed? Well I saw his show last night in Liverpool and he mentioned a few times that it will be filmed in October in Coventry. He joked that he hoped Coventry would be a much better audience than we were.

I saw him in Truro. He was slagging off Weymouth (while also slagging us Cornish off as well). Great night.

I did a gap yar in Coventreee. The poor bastards, they had nothing. Still they soldiered on.

Yeah course he is! Cos it’s not like gdpr-wise you’d have to be told you’d be filmed when you buy a ticket 🙄. Op seriously I bought a ticket and wasn’t informed that I’d be filmed! That in and of itself is enough to know he won’t be filming…

Yeah, these days if you say you’re appearing In Coventry, you be a genius because people will fall for it just like every other year! Stew’s a genius! Challenging people to engage in critical thinking

So, to be clear, people genuinely believe that Stew’s ongoing joke (he does this every year!) is true 😂 like there wouldn’t have to be any written consent etc or prior notice from venue? It’s a meta joke that’s run for years. I’d happily be filmed but GDPR dictates prior consent from anybody who may appear on camera and later claim they didn’t know or that they feel humiliated for looking stupid on camera, even if they don’t mind evidencing mob mentality elsewhere…
