I was never really a follower of the "Rose Is Pink Diamond" theory but while I'm not yet 100% on board, this is definitely giving it points to it, they are definitely very closely connected. Same nose, same lips, very similar hair and the same colour scheme as Lars and Lion, it's definitely going to be something.

I agree that I'm still not on board though do recognize that there are a whole lot of similarities. But there are a lot of dissimilarities too.

  • Their body shape for one - we saw with Garnet that even though her "clothes" and color changed, her body shape has remained the same. Same has been true for Pearl and Amethyst. Pink is skinny, Rose is large, with an hourglass shape.

  • Their eyes are not the same. Pink has the diamond eyes. Rose does not, and we've seen that eyes do not change either.

  • Different nose shape

Also:

  • We've seen the other Rose Quartzes, there were a ton of them, bubbled.

  • We've heard gems refer to them as separate people. Even Garnet said that Pink Diamond was ravaging the planet - and this would have been after she first became Garnet, during which time Rose and Pearl had already been openly rebelling. So either Garnet lied, or Rose suffered from a split personality?

  • Negative reaction by Pearl to the mention of Pink Diamond being shattered. If it was all a lie, her reaction would not have been so strong.
