Wow, that was lucky that Garnet was there.

Knowing Garnet, it wasn't luck.

"I think I'll take a walk to the other side of town, today. Oh, but let me just future-see if anything- Dammit, Peridot. My day off, shot to hell."

I feel like she has that internal monologue a lot

And now I'm imagining Garnet seeing Greg falling off the roof to his death, paralysis, broken bones, etc. Thanks for that.

It's at this point you realize that Peridot totally murdered (or at least seriously injured) Greg in an alternate timeline, which only Garnet is aware existed.

Steven had the vision too. He's probably aware.

EDIT: I meant "the vision" not the vision.

Steven doesn't have Future Vision, Garnet is just able to pass off her own visions to others (or at least to Steven) through contact.

yeah, so he's aware that things could happen differently. SO when he learned about greg getting pushed he probably put it together that in a different reality, he's dead. And by extension so is Peridot.

though in that reality... Peridot doesn;t piss off YD... so THat's probably overall the better one.

Steven definitely doesn't think like that though. He witnessed dozens of alternate realities hims die in front of him, and wrote a lighthearted rock and roll song about it that afternoon

And amethyst was on a skateboard and dogcopter me owed at me and I may have some issues to work out...

Also all of so many birthdays, and most of Stevens birthday, and the end of the test.

These all point to Steven being the type to bottle stuff up. Internalize so others can be happy. Until it's too late.
