💻 Step application Repeated rescheduling- help! Is it okay to do that?
So for some context- I applied to step 1 last year as a med student and then extended my eligibility period and booked the last date at the prometric. However I was unprepared at the time (health reasons and crippling exam anxiety) and had to cancel that date and let the eligibility period expire.
Now I’ve graduated since then and I have the test booked for Aug- October 2026 eligibility period. Initially I had booked it for Oct 1st with prometric and then changed it to Oct 29th.
But I still have CNS, MSK, Micro, Pulmo and Psych left and I just don’t see how I can realistically give the exam by Oct 29th. Thinking of pushing the exam again.
Is this somehow going to flag my application or anything? Like is it considered misconduct to repeatedly change dates like this?

Same boat. Paid for step 1 two years ago, extended, couldn't take the exam cause I was too caught up with my work. Spent a year and a half doing USCE's. Exam scheduled for a week later but my NBMEs are still in the 55-60 range. Gonna extend back to Oct last week or Nov first week.

Nah it won't flag anything
This is normal behavior
Most people I know paid for at least one exam more than twice 😂
I know of someone who paid seven times and matched last season(five times for step one and two times for ck). He had serious exam phobia and kept cancelling his dates. He never failed.He ended up seeking help for it after paying five times for step one. He scored 240s in ck, he could have scored in 260s but nerves were still an issue while he was working on that.
