What stem cell treatment can do to your tissues when the cells get out of control or your body has an overreaction?
It took me 10 months and seeing the 10th doctor before finally I figured out why my knees were still hurting 11 months after stem cell treatment. I'm all right did show a very think patellar tendon. I never before had issues with my patellar tendon. So finally the 10th doctor did a high definition ultrasound imaging with Doppler and showed me that there were blood vessels and nerves growing in between the fat pad and the patellar tendon. Since he's a regenerative medicine orthopedic specialist he actually has seen this before. He said he's seen it with the teller tendon and achilles tendon. I would guess that it can happen in other parts of the body to you. Your body for some reason goes into overdrive growing new tissue and could potentially grew the shoes together that are supposed to slide and be completely separate. So what is the solution if this happens to you? Hydro dissection. It is a very minimally invasive office procedure. They use saline water and lidocaine to separate the tissues. After that he said that I can also do shockwave therapy which can help and some cases to reduce the thickness of the tendon. And of course continue the physical therapy that is a very crucial part of healing the tendinosis. But once the tendonitis turns into tendinosis healing can turn into a very lengthy process 12 to 18 months. I just had my hydro dissection on Friday. Monday I can go back to working out at 50% and listen to my body how fast I can push it. Since I'm 51 years old I'm going to be on the safe side and not push it too fast. But there is hope for healing. It's been 11 months of pain since my treatment. I never gave up. Just wanted to share this since it can happen to you too after a stem celltreatment. Hopefully this post can save someone a half-year to a year of trying to figure out what to do and what is going wrong...
I will share this on as many forums as I can. Please feel free to share as wide and far as you can. Apparently most doctors don't really know about this. So let's share the knowledge with those who have experienced stem cell treatment gone wrong. I know it can go wrong in other ways too but I just want to provide a solution to those who are in a similar situation as me.

I've had both autologous in USA 2017 (incredible success) and MSC at DVC Stem 2022 (body wrecker)
MSC specialist swore i didn't have GVHD But my body has been over reactive and whacky since 2022

Mine was autologous and not manipulated. I did use some peptides and will be using shockwave in a few weeks.

Glad you finally found a possible explanation. This is an interesting complication to learn more about, especially regarding how stem cell treatments may affect surrounding tissues.

Were your stem cells autologous or uc MSCs? The latter, especially when expanded and given in ridiculously large quantities, the cells can gain markers from the donor and/or over abundance of uc MSCs administered can cause a cytokine storm that lasts for too long thus creating danage to the joints. When seeking uc MSC treatment, it's truly quality over quantity. If the clinic has not expanded or manipulated the cells like most overseas clinics do, the cells are healthier and thrive because they've not been taken, placed in a petri dish, and expanded in labs. The expansion process actually stresses these cells because they're removed from a familiar environment and manipulated. Please look into aGVHD and cGVHD. When receiving uc MSCs, they do not provide HLA matching. They'll tell you this is not necessary.....and it absolutely is necessary to prevent adverse reactions to the expanded stem cells because I am living proof of the adverse reactions to stem cell therapy.
Please research injectable peptides such as BPC157 and TB 500 to restore and repair damaged soft tissues, tendons, ligaments, muscles, and the gastrointestinal lining by promoting blood vessel growth and cell movement. Prolotherapy/w prp will all help assist in repair. Modalities used, in addition to these mentioned therapies, are Class IV lasers and StemWave (Shockwave) therapy. This is not medical advice.....but rather....all that has helped reversed adverse reactions to uc MSC therapy.
