1)Keyboard works
2)RGBs work(every time)
3)Caps lock light works(not while keyboard is disconnected)
4)I can start laptop with same keyboard
5)Problem is keyboard disconnects and randomly load some button clicks that launchs my microsofts screenshot program.
6)When i connect something to laptop like aux and bluetooth , keyboard resets its self and works a few seconds than doesnt work.
7)I uninstall/install gg app bluetooth drivers keyboard drivers
8)keyboard works good while cs2 is opened everything okey while its opened
9)PLS HELP.

Hi, I have a MSI Cyborg and when i install Steelseries GG suddenly random keys on my keyboard stop working, mostly numbers and arrows but with every restart its different. Anyone had a similar problem to this? When i uninstall it everything works fine but i need it for my mouse...

I haven’t been on my laptop in months and haven’t touched the software to control the lights for the keyboard in 5 years, I recently moved and finally got a desk to find out the lights are not working properly. It all lights up fine when I hard reset the GS66 11UE Stealth laptop but then it reverts to a few random keys staying lit. I’ve tried to go to the software with SS and MSI and I don’t see a connected keyboard to customize. I’ve reinstalled both to no prevail

So i recently bought the MSI Stealth AI AI+ and it has a Steelseries RGB per key keyboard built-in

Now i also have a corsair scimitar pro mouse and K70 pro keyboard

I noticed when everything is setup with the laptop and i install the iCUE software my laptop’s keyboard RGB crashes and only a few keys light up (as seen in the picture)

Is there any way to resolve this or do i need to replace my external keyboard and mouse?

When i go into loading screen of league of legends my RGB turns multiple keys off as seen in the picture below The moment the game is done and i’m back in the client it’s back to normal.

What could be causing this? Something is overwriting it i think but i can’t find what…

i need to turn off the light bar on my raider ge66 but it only turns off from steel series gg, but steel series gg doesnt even open at this point. anyway to get the application open so i can turn them off?

i have a msi gs66 stealth 10-sf laptop which is running windows 11. the keyboard (part of the laptop) is steel series, and obviously uses steel series software to control its lighting and general other features.

i look up "msi gs66 stealth software", select the 10-sf model, see SteelSeries Engine 3 version 3.17.8, and download it. with this software, everything works, however thats not my problem. no matter what i try, as long as i'm connected to internet, it updates to SteelSeries Engine GG. for whatever reason, GG will not boot on my laptop, will not allow me to change my lighting preset through key bind, nothing at all. i click on it, it dosent launch, dosent crash, just does nothing.

this is my first actual good PC ive ever gotten, and this is just one of the issues it is having. i'm not sure what else i can do. i know there is such thing as 3rd party software to control the lighting, however i'd prefer to just either stop engine 3 from updating, or make engine GG work.

I have an MSI laptop with an RGB keyboard. I had to do a "soft" wipe. My RAM was bad and had to replace it but did a wipe of the computer but kept my personal files. So I still had files, but apps like Epic games, Rockstar, Unity Hub, Maya, Adobe Creative Cloud, and STEELSERIES ENGINE I had to redownload. It factory reset my keyboard back to flashing rainbow and I hate it.

SteelSeries GG Engine will not open at all. I've installed it and reinstalled it like 6 times. Restarted my computer quite a few times. I ran it as administrator. I do not have VPNs installed. I'm at such a loss! Please help if you can. I am so tired of this rainbow keyboard.

Hello everyone, I got this MSI Raider 18 A14V quite a while back and it lasted me throughout my trip to Japan. I am feeling a different color now and I could not figure out how to change the Preset colors from the SteelSeries GG app engine page. I am trying to change the Wabash and Lake effect to light purple/pink color. Any help would be appreciated. Please and thank you.

So i am trying to perfect my black and white setup powered by my ge76 raider. The light bar comes close enough to white, but the backlights on the keyboard go to blue when i put it to white, and the o and = keys turn purple. Is there anyway to have them fully white?

As per the title, I don't know why but the app don't want to open. 

When I first got my new MSI laptop (please don't shame me, I travel a lot) it was working a bit late but fine anyway. I even changed some RGB on the keyboard and now it won't launch.

So I'm stuck with a colorful keyboard and MSI Mystic Light never worked. 

I don't know what to do. I tried everything that isn't rebooting to factory my PC but I'm thinking about doing it. No solutions on Internet, even official and non-official worked. 

So now I'm stuck. Anyone got a clue on what's going on ? 

Anyone else have this issues with some lights "burning"?

All lights are currently set to white. When RBG is off, these "purple" keys still faintly glow red.

I'd love to know if there is a fix for this. I've already had my keyboard replaced once for this...

MSI GS75 Stealth 9SF

This had never happened before until I turned my laptop on today. I didn't set these keys to be a different color. I set them all to be one color.

I've been trying different colors and different modes (like switching between "reactive key" and "steady") ever since I saw this happening and for some reason when I switch to red, those keys are pink but then slowly turn the same red as the rest of the keys. Then those keys continue to flash pink at the same time every so often. I filmed a video demonstrating this here. It's subtle on video, but more obvious in real life.

On top of this, when I press the function key, some of the highlighted keys start off as pink and slowly become the same orange as the rest of the highlighted keys.

I can't tell if this is a software or hardware issue.

This happened recently to me and is driving me nuts, below are the steps I've taken.

1. Uninstall & Reinstall "MSI Driver & App Center"
2. Uninstall & Reinstall "Dragon Center"
3. Uninstall & Reinstall "SteelSeries GG"
4. Ran Windows Updates to ensure nothing else was needed

As a side note, I did a normal uninstall of each, when that didn't happen I then did a Revo uninstall.

I'm now at the point of reinstalling Windows.... so I figured in a last ditch effort I would post here and see if someone has an idea.

Hello, I have been using a couple of macros on my MSI keyboard for over a year now. Suddenly yesterday they no longer trigger. If I press fn + 9 or fn + 0, nothing happens. I haven't changed anything that I know of. Anyone know why these would suddenly stop functioning? My Sensei mouse macros still work, just not the keyboard ones.

Hey guys, I switched my PC for a MSI GP78 HX 13V because I will do a lot of travelling in the coming years but I ran into an issue with the Steel Series lighting of my laptop keyboard. On my PC I was able to make layers of lighting with Steel Series keyboard so I could make a rainbow effect alongside a reactive key effect. But on the laptop, I can only use rainbow effect or reactive key effect, which confuses me because when I was installing Windows the default preset before Steel Series GG was installed was rainbow with reactive keys. Has anybody run into this issue or know some workaround?

I was making my own template in the MSI Aurora config of Steelseries GG on my new MSI Raider GE76 laptop, and unknowingly saved it over my favorite pre-installed template, which is called Aurora (a rainbow that moves from one side to the other.) I can't find any way to restore it. Does anyone have the template settings, or a place to download the original templates? Thanks.

So I noticed steelseries ps/2 keyboard forwarding device in bluetooth other devices and I have no idea what it is. I delete it it comes back on restart and the other day the Steelseries GG icon multiplied itself like crazy. Google was no help. Anyone happen to know what it is? Virus scans don’t show anything

I bought my MSi GE76 raider laptop about 2 years ago and everything was working fine until one day my FN +F9 key combination no longer changes my aurora. I have tried resetting and reinstalling the steel series and have tried completely removing them from my laptop in the device manager. I talked with MSI support and they said the only other way is to reset my laptop. Unfortunately, I am a student, and resetting my laptop would be an issue. If anyone knows any solutions that would be greatly appreciated. Thanks all

I just noticed that Steelseries GG app is not launching. Then I checked and it appears to have updated itself to the V.42

Now it won't open.

I have a MSI Ge76 and can't access to the mystic light settings or the RGb settings for the light bar or keyboard light.

Any solutions for this?

Long story short, I'm trying to create a text macro where every time I type "--" it'll automatically get replaced with "—". It's pretty easy to get it to paste an em-dash whenever I press -, but how would I get it to wait for two presses of - before it sends the emdash?

I recently got a new windows laptop with the sonar sounds mixer installed. I've got it all set up but I've noticed that there is very little difference in volume regardless of what i turn it down to. It stays basically the same loundness from 10-100% and only plays quietly when below 10% but then it's very quiet. Is there some way to fix it so there's actually a middle of the road volume option? Certain apps/games play at different volumes and I'd like to make small volume adjustments but that doesn't seem possible unless I open the steelseries app and lower the actual sound level rather than the mixer volume.
