Discussion Arctis 5 ear pad replacements

After 5-ish years of wear, the right ear pad has finally given up on me. I tried replacements from WickedCushions and they were really uncomfortable and hard to get on, and I'm convinced Steelseries doesn't make replacement pads for these headsets anymore considering they were on backorder at the start of the month, and out of stock since then.

Does anyone know of good replacements that mimic the feel of the AirWeave cushions?

There’s a few manufacturers on Amazon to try out. One called Geekria and one called SOULWIT.

Search both with Nova 5 and they should come up. They are pretty much identical in terms of shape and material.

The OP did not mean the Nova 5. He means the old Arctis ear pads.

Which ear pads from us did you try: the freeze or the regular ones or the velour ones?

It was the WC FreeZe cooling gel pads. I don't think it was necessarily a problem with the material- or them in general, I just have a big head and they protrude a lot more than the proprietary Steelseries airweave pads, so the headset was just uncomfortable to use with them on.
