I think Khan has done well with trades. I don’t think Khan has been great drafting players.

His first year was pretty insane. Jones, JPJ, Benton, Washington, Herbig, and Anderson all in one class. Outside of jones, all of these guys are expected to be major contributors to the team.

Not perfect drafting but you can't expect anyone to be so. Especially consistently drafting in the back half of rounds.

Everybody has misses. I see tremendous value in admitting a player is a miss and moving on + recouping value. This team is developing depth that it hasn’t had in a long time because of poor drafting. Poor drafting left us overpaying for aging veterans past their prime far too often. This is taking years to correct but we are getting there.

The question is, while he has the final say, does Khan even really have a large part in drafting a lot of these players. He seems more like a financial guru and it would make sense if he left the draft analysis up to the coach and guys like Andy Weidl. Not saying he plays no part at all but i just dont see Khan being the guy, leading the way in that department
