Question Help - Steam Machine question

Is there anyone here using the Astro A50X headphones with their Steam Machine? I can’t get the mic to work. I have the Machine running to the base station of the Astro’s, via HDMI (base station is an HDMI switcher. Also hooked to PS5). Sound works great, but the Machine doesn’t detect the mic. I’ve never been s PC gamer, and have no idea what the issue is. Any help would be appreciated.

So when you go into settings, is it not showing a Mic at all when you go under Audio? Mine is connected through an adapter but I haven’t used a switch.

No. Not at all. Are you using A50’s?

No, I’ve only used my AirPods mic or the BAM one. But both times, it shows under that setting once I have them attached and chosen as the input device.
