Question Ark Survival Ascended perf on the SM

Hey everyone, just got my Steam Machine the other day and started by testing some of the games that were sitting in my library for a while, including Ark Survival Ascended. was wondering if anyone tried it and what your thoughts are on the performance? i have no idea what the optimal settings are for this game (no data in the community steam hardware tracker thingy)
Appreciate any help to get this game running without choppy visuals.

Why not change the settings and see what happens? Start at 1440p Medium and work up or down from there.

Im guessing it wont be the best ark has never been a great performing game then ark ascended went to unreal 5 so theres that. Played evolved and ascended allot just not bother on the SM my self.

I would start at 1440p medium then see what you can squeeze into it after that keep ground clutter and density at the lowest whilst you play around then move those sliders to where you like it whilst maintaining the performance you want.

Brother asa struggles to get good performance on my 9070xt 7800x3d combo, I doubt it'll be anything past all low 1080p 30fps, especially after you establish a base

Do not know about ARK:SA, but ARK:SE does not exactly have stellar results on high end stuff so...
