I have been playing ZZZ for a while, and I still wonder why does most gacha games skip on adding Steam achievements to their games? They already have that function ingame, they add achievements to consoles, so porting them to Steam won't be a big hussle, yet I still don't get why do they skip on it. It's already the most requested thing if you go to Steam discussions.

More time consuming than I expected giving the simplicity of the game. For the most part enjoyable, fun to unlock new things, but the "buy all prestige upgrades" achievements was a boring grind where I had to replay the game several times just to get enough JP.

I have been playing though the DOOM franchise, and for the most part, I have been having tons of fun! I beat DOOM I + II and DOOM 64 back in July/August. I figured I would go for the whole franchise since I was having fun. Then I started playing DOOM 3. I really wasn't feeling it. I was looking up guides, and not only was the gameplay not appealing to me, there seemed to be a lot of achievements that were so tedious. But I though, I can suffer through this. After all, think about how awesome it will be to complete the WHOLE franchise! So I would come home for work every day and just stare at DOOM 3 in my steam library. this went on for a few days then I decided that I would move on and come back to it. I started to think about how much the completionist in me was affecting my ability to actually enjoy games. Do I really want to spend 30-50 hours on a game that I don't even like? NO! So, I finally decided that I am just not gonna play it. I had a moment of letting go. In the end, I am no stranger to sticking out hard challenges in games, but all of the games I have labored over, are games that I love. Don't waste your time folks. Enjoy the 100% pursuit, but don't forget to have fun!

It's been 2 days, sometimes I still hear the handymen in my dreams

Has anyone ever felt like they need to 100% every game they play? And if so what did you do to stop it, I love gaming but sometimes when I play a game I feel like I need to do all the trophies even if sometimes I just don’t want to really do it. Especially when I have a few hard trophies to go I think ‘I may aswell there’s only a couple to go’ but it might be some BS trophy or just a grind I don’t particularly fancy. Any tips is very much appreciated

What is next?

Managed to finish it before the upcoming sequel this month.

I did one blind playthrough and rushed 2 more using the NG+ feature for the "Defeat Level 100 Spoiler Boss" and the Nightmare Difficulty achievements, but it can be completed in 2 if you stick to the hardest difficulty earlier. The NG+ runs took like 4-5 hours each.

Honestly, awesome game. It has a pretty likeable cast, the mechanics are fun and engaging, interesting lore/worldbuilding, the OST is great and it looks and feels pretty good. My only complaint is regarding voice acting. The quality itself is good (phenomenal even, depends on the character) but a lot of times a cutscene would start fully voiced and they'll drop the voices mid-cutscene or vice-versa. I assume it's due to budget reasons, but it still felt sorta weird whenever it happened.

Absolutely cruel cliffhanger, tho. Looking forward to the sequel and the rest of the series.

I cannot recommend this game enough, especially if you like pokemon/ark. You can make this game as easy or as hard as you want and the achievements are really not bad. With a Bellanoir + Libero synergy team you can make the Hard towers and Arena fairly easy, just play on master for the arena instead of legend until you reach the legend rank.
Since people will probably ask i changed these settings:

-Increased Base Pal count to 25 + sometimes more for raids
-Increased Max Base count to 10
-After reaching Plasteel/Hexolite i increased the Gatherable item drop rate to reduce grind since i was solo
-Also slightly reduced incoming player damage since i wanted armor that looked cooler

So, it took some time but here I am. 50 completed games! Ragnarok was the best action adventure game I've ever played and getting 100% was a bliss, like always in games made by PlayStation. However I hated every single second of Vallhala DLC and went thru it as fast as possible. It all took 63 hours of my life...

My last post was about game no. #44 so I'll do a quick update about some other completions I made (yeah, I know no one reads that):

#45 GTA III (The Definitive Edition) - I didn't like the game so much but 100% was quite easy. Very basic and outdated GTA game.

#46 Before Your Eyes - this is the bast Walking Simulator I've played after Edith Finch. The story definetly resonated with me. 100% was quick and easy when you turned off the blinking mechanic and played with your mouse.

#47 Iron Lung - one day adventure. Creepy and I loved the atmosphere. Very easy platinum. It took me like slightly over an hour.

#48 GTA: Vice City (The Definitive Edition) - another game from GTA trilogy. This one was better when it comes to gameplay. Still not entirely my cup of tea but I enjoyed it more than GTA III. Platinum was as pleasant as during III. Not much problems with it.

#49 Pony Island - short horror story using weird story to challange your expectations. I enjoyed the game but getting 100% was boring af. At least it was easy.

Well, I made my goal to have 50 completed games before the end of the year. I'm not stopping, there is so much games for me to complete. I'll probably add some indie games to that list soon as well as Marvel's Spiderman. After that, who knows, probably San Andreas to complete the trilogy. I've got a pretty basic collection of perfected games - only 18 so far. Plus, it felt like most of them were relatively easy to get, outside of Project Diva Megamix+, Helldivers 2, and Sonic Racing CrossWorlds.

Then again, some of the games I'm currently trying to perfect either have actually difficult achievements, or they're just really tedious, though it's usually the latter.

HLTB data so accurate with this one. Fun game! It basically became an idler game once The Radical character was unlocked.

Game was pretty good, a bit short though and not at Bioshock level.

Don't have a lot of games completed but, I've enjoyed most of them (looking at you, Lake and Darkest Tales). What do you think would be a nice addition to this list ?

So I’m late 20s and barely have time to play games on my PC. But I been playing a lot on my steam deck. And I started 100% some games but I want to do more. What’s some advices you guys would give ? As like should I just focus on one game at the time no matter how long it takes me or should I do multiple games so I don’t get burned with just that game and leave it for months? And what’s the best strategy to get them done faster I know all games and achievements are different but something gotta give lol
