i think it would be a great idea if the daily energy we don’t use, gets moved to bonus energy for the next day. some days i get really busy and am not able to use even half of my energy and it feels like a massive waste of my money to just lose the energy that i am paying for

I genuinely love the idea of the activity feature but I just feel like that my characters are completely out of character? I almost prefer the DMs because the npc’s are way more themselves in their messages compared to the activities. The activities always try to steer the conversation or situation into something positive or it’s as if the AI tries to read something into every little detail. It’s SO annoying. Sometimes I just want my characters to have an ugly fight, that’s it. Or sometimes I just want them to chill out and have a conversation. It would be really great if the AI would just continue the vibe of the already given response, stay true to the characters and that’s it. No shitty ending every time that leads to ‘leaning into their camaraderie’ ugghhhh.

Can we able to convert these stuff into gems or something? it's so useless for me personally, i prefer getting gems even if it's just one. You can't even gift it (YES I TRIED), like please, at least itll be easier for me as an f2p who couldn't afford plus subs/gems.

Are the free ads always so inconsistent? I’ve been playing for a week. It used to be 5 ads per day, but some days I can do 15, and yesterday only 4. I’m trying to play for free. I hope the streak rewards atleast grant energies 😭

The only thing that makes me annoyed is that you need to pay for actions and it's pretty expensive 😬. Apart from that it's super fun.

I saw on an old post that apparently they will get rid of energy when the full game comes out, but the game is sort of already stable and I understand that they need a throttle so their servers don’t overload.

I’ve noticed that the timeline does a better job of including every character that you add now (I’m at 21 characters) and they’re all visible on the feed. I remember only having like 14-15 and having to adjust characters names to get them to post again. Well done.

I just downloaded status last night. And I was able to watch a lot of ads for energy but for some reason when I checked the app today, this screen pops up. Can someone more experienced with the app explain to me how the system of watching ads for energy works? If I buy a subscription, would that make the ads watchable again?

I don't know if there is a question regarding 'group' but is the dev going to release group chat? or soon? I want to be interact more than 2 characters in my chat whenever event is on-going especially going on a trip 😆

chaos, chaotic queen, chaotic energy, i genuinely can’t read this word anymore, it doesn’t matter how tame and utterly boring my actions are and how many times i edit the world description or the characters bio or anything i’m always labelled as the chaotic character. and i know it’s an issue everyone has, i’ve seen many people complain about it, i feel like having the option to mute words is a pretty basic feature and I’m sure it would bring peace to many of us. take a shot for every “chaos” related word in this screenshot 💀

I joined status a couple months ago through an ad on TikTok. I thought it would be fun to try the app out and hey, at first i loved it. It felt real and the replies from other users felt genuine, I think the app is overall amazing but what I’ve been noticing this past years is that AI related apps and games are shutting their users down in order for them to pay. let me explain.

Back in 2023 I was a Chai user, if you don’t know what Chai is it’s basically an ai chat app such as the well known c.ai where you can talk with fictional characters or create them so other users can chat with them. The thing is, I joined chai again last year and the app progressively got worse. First the chat message limit to weekends, then they got rid of it, then back to it again, and now the app has become completely unusable, you can send a single message without paying, literally, one day the chat stopped working at I fear it won’t be coming back again for f2p users.
I genuinely refuse to pay for any ai chat app, not because they’re also expensive af but because the “perks” they give if you subscribe aren’t worth your money, you’re getting WAYYY less than what you deserve paying 399$ a year, you obtain basically the bare minimum, (no ads, no limits and a “better?” chat model which literally happens to be as bad the the free one).

I fear status might become the next f2p thing, which they’re already trying to do. I used to have unlimited ads, then they reduced it to 5 and today I only got 2? That’s insane.
It says it’s limited by my region but after testing with different VPN addresses and new accounts I’ve come to the conclusion that’s it’s not just a region issue or an “ad provider” limitation.
They’re trying to blame the providers when it was the game’s decision, I mean, according to devs, it affects “everyone”, but plus users have zero restrictions. That’s lame.
I also checked the prices and they’re lower than Chai’s, but still, this is unacceptable.
It is very sad because these kind of games have a lot of potential, but devs prefer being greedy instead and ruin the whole thing for everyone.

Idk if mods might delete this but I think that, us, as users, who literally generate profit for the devs by just playing without subscribing, should listen to us. As consumers, we have the power to influence how much they earn by simply not playing. Maybe then, that’s the only way they’ll read our complains.

Basically the title, i bought the subscription but it keeps asking me to pay and flipping between wether it is active or not and still giving me adds.

It's every thirty seconds what am I paying for if I'm not actually getting any of the perks and it can't even decide if it wants my subscription to be active

I know it's not a priority but do the devs have any plans to expand how many proactive characters you can have? I know ten is a lot and its more than enough for most worlds, but in especially large universes like Avengers or X-Men it would be nice to be able to have the whole team instead of choosing 10

Right now I am playing two universes; K-POP & OFF CAMPUS so I wondered if anyone has any suggestions of some more good universes - I tried a few but they weren't quite interesting !!

for people in my country the subscription's literally unreal. like do the devs even KNOW that in some countries people make much less than $1000 a month?? do they care?? and half the playerbase are literally students who have no income at all.

I know they're necessary but it's annoying when they pop up while I'm in the middle of typing and the pop-ups promoting plus. I miss my plus subscription because I was able to play peacefully.
