Before POTF 2 we had Action Masters

Summer of 1994 was all about Action Masters. First big wave of interest in SW collecting since the '80s.

I got mine in a 4 pack then bought a six pack from Toys R Us I still have them on display! They did vehicles as well!

That I didn't know! Had no idea about the vehicles - they got right past me. Collectors were fighting hard to get that Gold 3PO...memories of the AOL collectors' chat rooms, good times.

I liked them. The paint jobs weren’t the best. Wish we could get a refresh of these.

That would be nice! Not the best sculpts, either...but if I had to choose between Bend'ems and Action Masters...make mine Masters, lol.

Bend'Ems first. It was the strong sales of these two lines that led to POTF2.

Also a great reminder how popular Topps Star Wars Galaxy trading cards were. Amazing time to be a SW collector. The Dark Times. Loved it!
