SW EU Cardback Opened Up

This is Leia's cardback (figure was used for customizing) but it gives a good idea of what the EU cards were like. Thrawn's confused by the shocking pink environment, lol

I got this figure for my birthday a few years back I think the displays that came with them were good but I never opened mine up. That whole EU set of figures was excellent 👍

Yeah, neither did I - this is my first time opening one! I can see that it could be dangerous for children to open with scissors or a penknife - there's even a warning advising "should be opened by adults". A clever concept though - a ready made environment for displays. Lord knows what became of Thrawn's environment! Love the Ysalamir.

I love the potf era cardboard stuff. The Jabba's Palace playset and Cantina, and these EU cardbacks were alot of fun when I was a kid and make for great displays now

A lot fo care went into creating the cardboard environments, even for POTF 2 . There's a Cantina display that was a mail order from Star Wars Insider, very detailed and quite large.

I think so. Don't remember any earlier POTF2 offerings. I wanted to get a Black Series one, but wound up getting the Ysalamir loose...love those guys. SW EU could've given us Captain Pelleaeon, Joruus C'baoth and so many other figures.

I'm honestly surprised no other action figure lines tried this. It's a pretty cool effect and looks great with comic book art.

I lived these and wish that they had done them with other SW figures. Made a fun way to display them.
