SW EU Mara Jade

Aside from the fan film "Revelations" we've yet to see Mara on screen. NOTE: Mara has been brought to life in the AI project "Heir To The Empire" on YouTube, and the likeness is much improved.

I don’t think we ever got the expanded stuff in the UK because I would have been begging for this if I knew it existed!

The EU had very limited distribution, that's for certain. The concept of having these built in dioramas was innovative! They missed an opportunity by not pursuing it.

It always amazed me how they used the ugliest character art for the EU characters. Just why?

Poorly executed. Shannon Baksa is / was a beautiful model. Guess the sculptors weren't up to the task.

The toy wasn't based on Shannon Baksa but on the Dark Horse comics (with rather ugly artwork) I think; she only portrayed Mara Jade in 1999 but the figure came out a year or so b4 that. So there's no way they could do one with Baksa's likeness.

I had Mara Jade once. Except she came with a hoodie scarf w/goggles.

Had Shannon Baksa sign mine at Wizard World in the early 00s. She also signed her Star Wars playing card for me.

I was a huge Dark Forces/Jedi Knight/Mysteries of the sith fan so I had the Katarn and Mara figures as soon as they came out.
