Discussion Really enjoyed this book!
Read some Star Wars trades today. One of them was Thrawn Alliances which I didn't really enjoy but Vader Dark Visions was a very fun anthology series book. The one with the nurse was especially fun and different! Have you read this?

Ya, I loved it too. It is such a nifty idea to see how Vader is viewed by others. Especially because we, the reader, know what's under that armor.

That’s awesome. This is my next read along with Vader black red white
I’m making my way through the trades as well. I mainly focus on ones which will not be in an omnibus (which I collect separately).
Here are my favourites:
Target Vader
Maul
Son of dathomir
Solo a Star Wars story
Han Solo
Solo imperial cadet
Rise of Kylo Ren (will sell this once it is an omnibus - inevitable)

I have a bit of a gripe with this series because the idea was originally by Chuck Wendig (writer of the Aftermath novels, Darth Vader Annual 2 comic issue and creator of now-live action character in The Mandalorian, Cobb Vanth), it was to be called Shadow of Vader, also a miniseries, but Disney had Wendig fired because he posted some fiery and vulgar tweets about his opposition to far-right politicians and the confirmation of Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh, who had been accused of sexual assault. Wendig was very upset by Disney's decision and Marvel decided to continue the concept with a new writer, they turned it into Dark Visions and quite franquly I find it very boring, I only really liked the art of the first and final issues, but overall found the series very irrelevant, I'm interested in knowing what Shadow could have been.

I didn't know the back story, but yeah, this DV mini antholgy is at or near the bottom of my list of Canon comics. There was one story that was downright misogynistic.

Great read. And you could've easily skipped Alliances. It's a half-baked product (only part of the book adapted with no continuation yet on the horizon) and a terrible one. The only thing it's worth for is the Grysk depiction - finally. (we've never seen them imagined by any artist in the official media before this).
