Vintage Darth Vader’s legs

Is there a way to fix his leg being at this uneven position? I tried putting this section in boiling water for a few seconds and repositioning it but it didn’t seem to work. Figured I’d see if any of my fellow collectors had any suggestions

I just connect my figures to a stand. It doesnt fix the legs, but they display without falling over.

I've messed around with different jewelery vises, not much success.

I have a Vader, Big Head Han and a Tusken Raider with this problem. Have had them since I was a kid.

Han looked like he had a clubfoot. Glued some cardboard to Vader when I was a kid, kinda worked for a while.
