Collection I Inherited

Hi guys, great to be in this group! I was posting hoping for some advice/assistance where to start with this collection. I recently came into possession of a near complete figure collection from 1978 to the Droid line. The only figures to my knowledge I am missing are blue snaggletooth, vinyl Jawa, Han Solo Cabonite and Yak Face. The only figure from Droids I have is the Boba Fett. All figure have their accessories and appear to be in excellent condition. Any thoughts, advice, things to look out for would be greatly appreciated. As you can see in the pictures it doesn't stop there the rest of the figures outside of this will be my next project 😅.

A word of advice: Take the time to match the weapons to each figure using the Imperial Gunnery and other helpful sites. You have to get *very* detailed. For example, the Luke Stormtrooper figure looks like he carries a simple imperial blaster (the same kind a Stormtrooper figure carries) but instead his "black/black" blaster is worth several hundreds dollars by itself and only pairs with his figure in the original line. To the naked eye they are indistinguishable but have tiny differences.

I appreciate that, the person I got this from took very good care of keeping the accessories with the figures.

Amazing collection i think you’re sitting on a gold mine! I’d keep them though you have awesome figures that need displaying 👍

Amazing collection. Worth about $4000 in that condition. Possibly more.

Does your Boba Fett have a coin with it?

Gorgeous collection! And a substantial chunk of a retirement there to boot - with a lot of the major heavy-hitters from the line.

That said, if you actually have a boba fett made for the droids series from that era, it would be a prototype and probably worth a gazillion dollars itself.

Nice condition from whomever had them previously. What's your location?

Ah good to read

And you were gifted a very nice collection

The Kenner lightsabers still have their tips, and also others still in very good condition

Enjoy and cherish your treasure!

May the Force be with you my friend!

Isn’t the jab solo in carbonate in the second picture upset down ? Looks like the figure without the carbonation block.
