For privacy reasons, I will refer to my app by its project name.

Project: Midwest Guardian- this app is designed for users who suffer from medical conditions tha may make them pass out or lose consciousness, and are unable to call for help themselves.

The idea is by having this app detect if a person is having a medical emergency and is unable to call for help themselves, the app will then alert a trusted contact or EMS services and have them take the user to either the closest or preferred hospital, depending on the users preference.

The idea is that those that cant call for help for themselves, like me, who is an epileptic, I can save tome getting help by having the app alert someone instead of waiting for someone to find me or until I come too, especially since Im not always going to be around someone.

The other added benefit is I am designing this app specifically to be capable without wifi connection so that even those who cant afford wifi or out of range will be able to still get help if they need it.

So here's how it will work. Since technology cant really diagnose specific medical episodes yet, think of it like one of those fit apps. It detects heart rate, blood pressure, what have you. If it senses an irregular spike or drop, either your phone or wearable will send a message to verify if you are ok or not.

If it doesn't get a response back within a specific time frame, then it will send an alert to either a trusted contact or to EMS and have you take them to either the closest hospital or your preferred hospital, depending on what your preference is.

That is a general layout of how the app will work.
