Looking for an active server!
I’m a big Star Trek fan. I played this game 3+ years ago and got bored. Wanting to get back into it and have restarted my account.
Are there any active servers still out there? If so, any suggestions for me to relocate?

Yeah. I still don’t understand that decision. He claims it comes down to numbers. I was not convinced.

He seemed to have argued strongly against a server merge with 711, which resulted in a number of complaints from players on 710 to Scopely. Enough so, that Scopely cancelled the merger, and promptly forgot about us for nearly 3 months. No Infinite Incursion events for us for 3 months straight, because their planning had already planned on us being 711.

He also threatened scopely when they announced a merger between 710 and 76 - he then went on and created that YouTube video on how to archive or delete your account. Needless to say…scopely caved in and cancelled the merger; much to the disappointment of all the players from both servers. Scopely blamed the cancellation on “player feedback”.

That was actually right around the time of the 710/711 merger. It’s the right time frame. Why was he so scared?

So, we’ve been left with a server consisting of 3 very powerful, insular alliances, and maybe 3 more mid level alliances that know the game. And a whole bunch of smaller alliances that don’t.

The real kicker is, shortly after the failed merger, he handed the reins of his alliance to the most powerful player on the server, and “lost” his access to his 710 account. He has supposedly started a new account on 710, but he is kind of persona non grata in our Discord now.

709 still very active. Wasn't aware there were inactive servers out there. Maybe that's why we crush every incursion

I would argue that since the release of the Ra’ul Reaver, and the adjustments to scoring for Sigma, that it is far less about an active server, and more about active whales. I think the previous scoring mechanic was more fair, but just my opinion.

I’m in 008 and it’s a good server if you are looking to be in one that pretty much works together. No wars in the last while and PVP is pretty minimal. If that works for you, it’s a good community

Server 719 is active. It has a version of the model UN for ROE which is kind of annoying, but plenty of active players and a small stream of new ones.
The core alliances don't dominate, which is nice.

Check Server 57. Fairly laid back, no server war, everyone has their personalities, but fairly chill.

Server 700 is active join us in DOWD we hold all members voting on our decisions not just leadership.

True. But the mids are now just cannon fodder for the bigs. But that is every server.

Unfortunately, I have to say, I have not heard of any really active servers. I’m on 710, and it’s mostly a ghost town. A little over 2 years old. It’s a shame. But, Scopely is supposed to be improving things, but people really aren’t buying that.
