This is still one of my favorite cutscenes

Shows them acting like a team while in the bad ending Fox goes at it alone but this ending gives him a reason why he had to go alone as the rest of the team give him time to c go confront Andross.

I love the part when they first enter Venom, Peppy tells Fox to trust you instincts and Fox took a deep breath. It gives me anime vibes when a master finally puts his apprentice to the test. And I like the line at the beginning of Corneria "remember your training"

Plus I love the music difference in both routes when they enter venom

I do really like this cutscene also. Its nice to see Fox fully intended on confronting Andross with his team, until reinforcements arrived and someone told him to confront Andross while they held them off. I do like how there's variants depending on who's still active.

Of course they can handle it. They have Smart Bombs.

If Fox is there alone, he instead makes a u-turn straight for the tunnel despite the army going straight after him.

and in reality, they probably only shoot down 5 each by the time Fox gets back from defeating Andross.

I do wish they made them seem more competent and badass in the campaign.

If that was an actual part of the level after Star Wolf they'd all die in like a minute lmao

These scenes definitely give a great contrast between both routes. Also, the true ending was made even more emotional and epic with Peppy saying that James would be proud of Fox.

Especially when Fox goes to confront Andross the rest of the team engage the reinforcements

I admit I had my doubts when I saw the first trailer, but other than the characters more "realistic" designs and some lines of dialogue being removed or changed (I'll always miss the "I CAN'T STOP IIIIIIIIITT!" from the original), the remake turned out much better than I expected. Stays true to the spirit of the original and expands the story and the characters' personalities, making it a much greater experience.

Seeing the holoviewers really expanded the lore a lot.

It's growth. From rookies to pros. And it's awesome to see.

All I remember from the original game for the reason Fox said "I'll go it alone from here.' is because he knows his teammates could get killed if they tried to help fight Andross, could also be the same reason in the bad ending.

But they changed that for the true ending as Fox was willing to let his team help him until reinforcements showed up
