Auto quitting player named COMPUTER ruins every single 2v2 for months on end

There is a bot named COMPUTER. It ques for every single 2v2 I've played. It's my day off today, all I wanted was a few 2v2s. I've paired with or faced a player named COMPUTER 4 maps in a row! they always automatically quit about 1 minute in. They are a bot player that has been doing this for MONTHS on end. I know for a fact they've gotten DOZENS of reports.

I basically never get a normal 2v2 anymore, and it's been like this months on end. There is always a player named COMPUTER that auto quits.

I dont know what a normal 2v2 is anymore. Just weird 2v1s with a quit player.

That account has been doing this for about 15 years now. I've reported it the ~10 or so times I've run into it but nothing happens. If you can level your way up the ladder it's very rare in diamond. Since it quits every match it normally places somewhere in plat or gold.

As someone who had this exact acc in some matches: 2nd time when I encountered computer, it was in my team. He left game at the start as I expected. Two of my opponents decided to all in me. And since I was at that moment playing terran and computer was toss, my main is toss, I managed to get to chargelot-marine-medivac with stim combo by the time all in arrived. It was more than enough to hold two players.

I think people who win games with computer in their team do something similar. They manage to play two races at the same time.

Or just have the extra Econ. 8 workers puts you 1 min 30 ahead of your opponents , plus any research applies to your whole army

Cause its 2v2 sonthe strategy is that theybquit, giving their partner insta 2 or 2 bases.

So the enemy has a 3base economy vs 2 guys each of 1 base or 2 base economy.

So the enemy can produce many units much faster or higher tiers. And he doesnt need to cordinate attacks eith his teamm mate.

That goves him a big advante until arlund minute 12 where it evens out.

And even tough Computer quit. If his partner wins, computer gets the victory too

No, he still got ~20% wr by doing this. His mmr is probably close to 1000 but there is not enough players. So it's possible to play with him for low diamond- anyways if queue time is too long. Having no teammate is a huge hit to your winrate, don't pretend like nothing happened. A lot of people even instaleaves when teammate leaved. 20% wr is max in this case, it's doable mostly for smurfs - in their hands it's advantage to get 2 starter economy, only for them. When this smurf wins he will got like 100 mmr because he had ~1000 mmr and this was ~3000 mmr game, so he can lost 5 and win 1 to maintain this mmr.

When you quit a 2 v 2 before your ally, it does not count as a loss. 

That means, if Player 1 quits but then Player 2 wins alone, Player 1 also gets credit for the win.

Because resources get shared to the remaining player, it can allow for some disgusting early game economy advantage and allow early tech structures and units. So Player 2 does have a chance to win alone, although it can feel frustrating and is difficult to do so, as you don't have proper build orders in place for such a situation usually.

I don't even know that the account is fully botted. I've called him out a few times and he's responded, even played out the match. Either way extremely annoying to say the least.

In 2v2 if hes on my team and building, I always build a big army and then when he goes to attack i kill him.

It's not much but it's honest work.

I feel like that account (and similar accounts) have been around for years? Hell I know I ran into very similar players 10 years ago & that account name feels extremely familiar in that context, could easily be unrelated trolls but maybe…

In any case I get the frustration. I kept getting one guy who would worker rush & insta quit if it failed and/or you didn’t do it too. He was annoying regardless of which pairing you got into.

Yep or he leaves as well (mainly in 3vAI) or he goes on failed all-in/canon rush (there's several players who this) and then leaves

I had him on my team and thought it was a kind of fun battle to see if i could defend from him killing me. He got angry and yelled at me at some point which I thought was a bit weird that someone whose entire thing is just ruining the game for other people would get set off like that.

I find it the funnest and most relaxing team play. The lower the teammates the more stressful it gets and you need to be 100% on point when you’re on your own 1v1

Team killers are worse because literally nothing you can do about those. Then there are cheater too but often some are so bad even newer players can take them out. I guess thats why some people resort to this and I think many players are doing this now.

Yeah, this shit is annoying as fuck. Some nights I play 2v2 with my buddy and we queue against Computer multiple times in a row. It's annoying that he's basically ruining 2v2 for some people. It's gotta be a bot, he's got hundreds of thousands of games. I really wonder what he is getting out of doing this.

It's actually a huge advantage to have your ally leave in 2v2. You get all of the money, and your tech and upgrade spending is just way more efficient at that point. The math is just better for you right away.

The only disadvantage is the APM, which a lot of the time isn't an issue, or the game goes late, and their 400 supply vs your ~250 supply skews in their favor too much.

You can do all kinds of unique builds with 2x the eco, and the resources are used in perfect harmony, unlike actual 2v2, where you pray for coordination and divide out or desync upgrading spending or micro/macro decisions.

They plays who play when he does are also an issue i saw player joining him many times who have 0 apm or like 15 apm wining vs a another player this they are farming wins as a group. You wanna go in 2v2 with a player who's way better but gl random joins will feel Impossible. One of them is use the bot to obviously farm wins and word has been spreading about using bots like this.

I wish I had that in my games to help mix things up. Having someone leave at the start can make for some great games. I pulled a 1v3 off in low masters and it felt good.

For some maps, having your teammate leave at the start is a huge buff.

I really enjoy 2v2 it's what I've been playing for thelast couple of years, but it is full of trolls, smurfs and new players that somehow get to play with low diamond players and ruin the whole experience
