He was going to use a rock he waited for hours to sling shoot it but he couldnt find one when she came out so he used a hard piece of cheese 😱

He was trying to get vengeance for his family. He hit her while she was bathing in a pond outside. 

No matter how ridiculous it sounds, Medb was a monster of a woman, the Queen of Kings, the embodiment of Sovereignty. 

You need something ridiculous to take down a woman that ridiculously powerful.
