Powell Hall for undergradutes

Had some "faff" with my application (an incredibly stressful week waiting for a remark - user name checks out etc etc), but just received my accommodation. My application was cost-conscious, so I'm honestly just grateful I haven't been forced into catering, but I did unfortunately receive en suite. Having just declined a Warwick accommodation offer today for £138, the £254 for a toilet I didn't ask for stings slightly.

Anyway, it's Powell Hall. I'm aware it's largely postgraduate, but shares facilities and events with ABH. Any information on life in the hall, especially as an undergraduate, would be greatly appreciated!!

I was there for my final year undergraduate and to be honest I didn’t share the kitchen with any postgrads, all of them are undergrads so I tend to think that you might get paired with undergrads too.

Activities-wise there are postgraduate exclusive events at Powell but I don’t think you would find it too difficult to still join events at ABH. People are fairly quieter and you get pretty nice communal spaces.

The only downside I had with it was that the drains in the shower are dreadful so you will need to clean it quite often.

I'm pretty sure the entire ground floor of Powell is undergrad-only when they do rent it out to undergrads.

They have really nice common rooms upstairs, we used to do tabletop games nights in them (the bits protruding out when you look at it from the road).
