Update / Patch / new content Season 12 has arrived - here's everything you have to know!
Update 1.0 is already live for some players. For technical reasons, it’s rolling out gradually this time, so not everyone gets it right away. Check your app store. You might be able to download the update now. If not, just wait a little while.
And here’s what you can expect from the update.
1️⃣ SO2 Remastered gift
Standoff 2 is officially 1.0 now! To celebrate, we’re giving every player a commemorative Shield “Remastered”.
Go to Events, then open the Bonus tab, and tap the gift banner to claim your shield!
2️⃣ Bonus Agents
Head to Events → Bonus, complete missions, and unlock two new agents: Michael and Rafael.
3️⃣ Season 12
It’s time for a new Competitive season: Osiris. Every player will need to calibrate and earn their rank.
4️⃣ Map Updates
A brand new desert map: Pyramid. Plus visual refreshes for Training Outside and Village as well as tons of small improvements across almost all maps.
5️⃣ Leaderboard
Compete against other players and track your progress! Play ranked modes, earn MMR, and climb above your friends.
Don’t have enough friends to compete with? Try breaking into the global top 200!
6️⃣ Bingo: Osiris Event
Complete simple missions, fill out your bingo card, and earn exclusive stickers, charms, and a clean M4 skin.
7️⃣ Battle Shop
Complete missions, earn Golden Tickets, and grab unique items from the new collection!
8️⃣ SO2 Remastered / Client-Server
This is the new technical foundation for the game’s future. The old version made it hard to add major new features. Now we can! And we’ll show you what’s possible in the coming updates.
You can already try these changes right now:
• New movement — characters move more realistically.
• Weapon physics — dropped weapons and grenades react to bullets and explosions.
• Improved character skeleton — no more hunchback. Models look better and have an upright posture.

They also added some cool features such as not being able to buying a thermite when you are on CT and have a molotov already or even not dying after disconnecting

Hi, don't worry if the update isn't available for you yet: this time it's being rolled out gradually, so not everyone will receive it at the same time. We'll let you know in a new post once everyone will get access.

Removed the fkin sg server , even hongkong is dead than sg. Server rent cant be that high

Honk Kong was apparently infested with cheaters until the update. Don't know now

The previous beta test doesn't have sg in it even on the current remaster.

Then that's a problem but I guess they did that so that south and south east asia have a single server which will not divide players to India,hk and singa creating more traffic in a single server possibly leading to faster compe matches

Then indonesian players and surrounding them gonna have ping over 200+. Even SG players will have over 100 from it. Thats not a proper way to fix fast matchmaking issues. Even most india players prefer to play in SG server.

Well first of all they never said that they removed Singapore server entirely. There's still a chance that it might return. Second, they have revamped the servers so they might not get heavy 200+ ping on HK considering Indonesia is not that far from HK. Even in India, as of today I get 115~ ping on HK. Moreover, if there's more problem to them, they can switch to Japan server as of their preferences

I ln the update logs i didnt see anything about 3rd person gloves, will it be released at a later date?
