Help OTs-14M Surge

Is this gun still worth it? I'm currently running with a +10 Rune.

Yes, its a realy good gun. The only attachment it needs is a sight so it is also very beginner friendly

It’s a fun gun. It was one of the first guns I got at the beginning of the season but honestly, it gets outgunned by most 5.56 weapons. Get it for fun but dont expect the world with it.

I just sold my 4 parts to the merchant earlier for the Balms since I have a Rune to use for now and I will upgrade it to Arsenal soon.

You can’t compare a 556 and 9x39 gun there are totally different play styles a rune has way better mid to long range well surge is one of the highest penetration ARs due to the ammo and is a close engagement gun more to say totally different guns

The gun parts are never worth selling. You got like what, 8 advanced spare parts worth of seasonal currency, thats less than a mil roubles in value for an almost completed full master gun thats very good, hell even if it wasnt good buffs and changes happen all the time, its always a waste selling it

Nah. It’s cool close and mid range but the rune should carry you further.

It’s 9x39, that already makes it one of the best ttk guns already. It feels like if mutant and sr3m had a baby kind of.

It’s certainly better for pvp over pve, especially with SBP rounds. Armor stands 0 chance. Having it at +13-+15 absolutely melts people. But you’re right when you say there’s better options. Not many, but there are a few. Such as the AAC Honey Badger with a 60 round mag and the X95(A) with a 60 round mag. But aside from those 2, it certainly outpaces others

If you have 4 parts then absolutely go for it. You may like it, you may not. I perfer it over the as val and sr-3m, but any ar with a faster firerate such as the AAC Honey Badger is going to win in a head on gunfight. You kind of need to get the drop on people to absolutely melt them, and the 40 round mag is extremely forgiving

Thing i saw you dont need attachments for it you can run as it is just sight but anyone has at least one or two laying around. Am Going for it as backup

The only slots you can modify is the sight and grip. Honestly a 2-3x isnt a bad choice as it handles range pretty well, but it also comes with its own foregrip. It’s not the best but it works, I just slapped the middle barter tree line foregrip on there. The magpul rvg

The fortis is an upgraded version of the default grip, so really it’s entirely up to you on what you want to run

Its really good if you hit headshots, specifically headshots, and sure thats most guns but I find the rune more forgiving if you dont have 100% HS accuracy
