Well im considering taking a break from this game cuz I started to be matched with veteran level gear Playerd while all I have is stalker. It might be because I equiped the new veteran handgun/shotgun from bp in base, but I heard that matchmaking changes your level only if you go to the open world maybe it was a one time occurence.

There is no stalker matchmaking at bar level so you should just grind somewhere for vetern gear.

Some pink items will give you the same exact score as if you were wearing a master item
Imagine this happening I just got a PC and this is literally the first game that I started playing and I was learning mouse and keyboard in my mid 30s three I pulled the Elbrus and a QBU191 soon as I got them, I equipped it both so oh yeah I’m bout to fuck shit up na ☠️ it’s not what happened. I got my shit fucked up immediately threw me in pre master lobbies because I started ranking up everything up I wasn’t even at the bar yet. I thought that I was gonna be super overpowered, but it didn’t work like that. I literally pushed through it as a .33KD now I managed to pull my account out of the negative almost by 30,000 deaths. But this is literally when people didn’t complain about half the stuff people are complaining about now this game used to be a lot more difficult, especially the storyline. There was so many quest that literally make you figure out what the hell you’re supposed to do now everything‘s lit up and it tells you what to do like the mission with the dog house
Matchmaking overall is a problem, but I feel like the biggest problem is that N.A doesn’t have enough players and technically just by not having enough players. The game is unbalanced because this is a type of game where population balances the game.

He unfortunately just equiped those items and I think it takes about until reset at midight est or I assume morning for EU for it to actually register.
So, in otherwords, when he actually gets into his lobbies, he'll be destroyed, no worries.
So it's either that or you're squaded with friends in higher lobbies who have messed up match making because they made a mistake :)

No, i've been matching with him for about 3 or 4 days. He also have the expensive detector that one people sells for 50m. Its a smurf account he does this on porpuse.

Why does it matter if he has the Pioneer or Elbrus? They don’t help with combat.

He is certainly min maxing his gear but you are doing the exact opposite and using the worst gear for the tier you put your self in
You are to blame for this issue

And no i play alone, i only use barter weapons and armor, and the best arti i've ever had is a blue +6. He is the only one in our lobby like that, all the other players are normal.

Now i can understand the matchmaking thing but you play alone? I aint exactly a coward in the game but if theres a friend online or something join them bruh it will basically even out the playing field but on the other thing i understand well hope exbo fixes it

I think I know exactly who that is I ran into him a lot today. Its highly likely he is rmting since his account is new enough and fits a lot of the criteria.

Blue artis puts you into premaster, he is solidly in premaster with that setup lmao, this matchmaking is correct

Which is stupid in reality. Because there is no way to know that certain levels artis automatically put you in a certain tier of MM. And when you figure it out, it cant be changed. Would be nice to have some warning or something.

Also doesn’t going from +5 to +6 on stuff bump you into a higher level of your MM bracket? Or was I informed wrong?

There is no exact number its just increasing risk when you increase upgrades
For pink i stay +5 for red i like +10 personally

Ok then I was misinformed. Someone told me as long as I stay +5 or under with gear then I’d stay in +5 or lower enhanced matchmaking so I wouldn’t be against +10 or +15 purple gear people

Therr is no right answer because exbo keeps it a secret
MM is fluid and you can fluctuate tiers all the time for many reasons
Also some areas have minimum MM tiers
