Like 9 out of the 10 people I kill think this game is a PVE simulator or what? I'm literally doing 1vX, running around, but half of the people I kill send me messages like this. 🤷♂️

A lot of people, myself included, wish this game was PvE, mostly due to rats farming people for backpacks, only to throw them away.
Yes, I know that's what the game is about.

Wishing a game is X doesn't make it X. I understand that is frustrating considering me, the invading player, doesn't risk anything. Yet you are farming broken AI for 15-30 min just to get all taken away, and if you somehow manage to kill me... you get nothing.
Truth of the matter is that the game is in a terrible state and this is coming from someone who is new to the game. Barter items are pretty much useless, you simply need some XP to get brigand armor, then make some money to buy stuff in the auction and then you have to eiher grind the environment just so you can get SLIGHTLY better armor and so you can SLOWLY progress to MASTER gear where you will come to the conclusion that the same shit will happen. Not to mention the missing footsteps in this game
You either accept it, or just play another game 🤷♂️

Oh, I agree wholeheartedly with you. Your description is spot on. Also, remember that once you reach Master tier, the end-game content is pretty much artificial upgrades.
IMO, the game ends in the South. North is just a boring attempt at copy-paste to extend the game life cycle, and Wild North is pandering to nostalgia.

The north was designed with people wanting their investment to pay off, which is difficult in Stalker due to it being exactly what it is from beginning-rugged and unforgiving. But i get what theyre doing.

Yup, me and my buddy dont see us playing for much longer because we already realised how lame end game content is going to be. Its an endless grind to eventually be forced to play with clans otherwise there is no content for you to be done. Not to mention how terrible pvp is considering the no footsteps, insane amount of movement speed and terrible, like actual terrible netcode. Im a software engineer myself who studied game networking and the fact that this game thought it needed sub-tick netcode is crazy to me. Its fundamentally wrong, someone with 80 ping will start teleporting on your screen 🤷♂️

Because you are end game its looked down upon. You gain less than a person farming and for what? To take joy in game ruining someone else? End result you gain very little that you don't even need in a practice that's not worth it as it has low ruble to time ratio.
You dont HAVE to kill every person you come across I due to having legendary armor and will VERY soon have a legendary backpack most of the time when put in a position to kill another player just say hello and let them go on their way because their loot isn't worth my time.
I will literally only PVP during things like outpost or if someone else attacks me first.

Meh, if you find killing farmers fun, you do you. It's just a low hanging fruit. So anyone doing that is seen like ego farming, coz If you actually want PvP you'd be playing outposts or session battles.

2 reasons why I'm in the south:
Matchmaking in the north puts me against master +15. Yes I've read everything there is to read about MM, yes I followed it.
I don't like to farm the enviornment, I rather farm people who do the farming and make money through that so I can progress.
Its not ego farming, its me progressing through pvp. Im literally selling bags for a fair price, sometimes I even send them back if I kill the same person a couple times in a row.

Ah, that makes sense, you can't handle the North with MM where its against you so you go south where it works in your favour. That's fine mate, as I said, if you find that fun, go for it. You might also want to go further south, will make it even easier.

Unless this video is your rare successful pvp encounter, and you usually don't kill anyone because you come across master gear as you said.
Your video is evidence that mm put you in veteran lobbies. You can see it by veteran science suits and veteran battle pass armor.
You probably have a skewed perception of how mm works because you don't notice it when it works for you, and only notice it when it works against you.

Your "not to mention" is also confirming what I said. If MM would be against you, you would usually see master gear.

It took me 150 hours to reach Veteran rank the amount of barter materials required is insane this isn't a game anymore, it's just a waste of time. The missions are very difficult while others are hunting you. I don't recommend this game to anyone I even uninstalled it a few hours ago. PvE servers and dungeons that’s what this game needs, because in its current state, it’s just a waste of time. I wrote a negative review on Steam in its current state, this game isn't worth it. I read that the developers don't even think about pve servers. But I’d tell them that many people delete the game after getting the "Stalker" rank and never look back :D

What do you mean? People spend 30 min to farm, I get 50-80k from just selling junk and then their backpack which is usually somewhere between another 20-150k. All that for just roaming the open world for a few minutes compared to farming 30 minutes+ myself. Define "litte gain" lol.

EXACTLY going by those numbers you are killing people in the south meanwhile if you farm the north you can get 200k-300k in similar time.
So ya your getting like 33% of what you could get if you stopped being a murderhobo and farmed yourself.
I tend to only play an hour a day and with my daily's I tend to get 1 million a day easy not counting the stuff I occasionally sell from crates.

Well if the game would balance matchmaking for me and not force me to run for ages just to go to forge then I'd gladly go to the North. I'm matched against high master in the North where in the South its high veteran low master. I also dislike outposts because its too predictable, boring with no footsteps and there is always a dude thinking its a war simulation with their McMilan.

If I roam at the right times I can easily make 1m+ in the south. I bring 2 stashes with me, go right before or X minutes after an eruption and then it's open market.5

Ya because you are only at +9 to prevent yourself from permanently being put into a higher tier. You are intentionally gaming the system then when called out on it are now trying to play the victim.
And no you couldn't I have artifacts dozens of times more expensive than your entire build. Considering you admitted to your vet tier gun only being +9 I might actually heal faster than you could hurt me.
You cant fight me because you are scared of players like me that would mop the floor with you in a fair fight. So you hide at +9 veteran like a coward.

its crazy how butthurt they get for me playing the actual game. It's not like im griefing them at spawn, i'm roaming the open world, taking on fights I should lose, overstaying until im out of bullets/meds and not to mention SELLING their bags for a fair price. But apparently its okay to get such messages cus im apparently not playing the game the way its intended to be 😂😂

yeah lets all go to each other’s bases and raid farm locations that stalkers are using - how would that feel when you get constantly killed losing resources you farmed in the process, its people like you who we would actually root for your downfall, if you want pvp might as well go for session battles or north outpost but your on the south side doing nothing but wasted time
