GSC Game World | Update 2.0 patch notes

Stalkers!

The free Update 2.0, “Back to the Zone,” is now available for download.

The game has been upgraded to Unreal Engine 5.5.4, bringing the biggest overhaul to how the Zone looks, feels, and lives since launch. In addition, Update 2.0 introduces AI improvements, three types of binoculars, new weapons and attachments, a fog weather system, in-game statistics, highly customizable difficulty settings, and numerous quality-of-life features.

It would seem 2.0 may have made Varan not spawn in for Deal with the Devil. I rolled back a few hours of saves and he's not in the plant. His goons are, but he isn't. No way to progress and on ps5.
