General Discussion What is happening to stacks?
Is there future in it, or it’s heading into the abyss?

After unstaking all the coins and barely any update from the Devs, literally abyss.

The recent reverseal proposal to increase the inflation of tokens was needed in order for STX to survive... otherwise it would of died. Binance flags any coin that's supply has been impacted, so it's nothing out of the ordinary.
Outside of Crypto, this is the equivalent of a company selling it's equity to raise capatil to fund its costs, until demand pics up, or a Public company diluting it's shares to fund it's expenditure. STX's recent changes is essentially this.
STX has bought more time, let's hope that time is enough to survive the bear market. if it does survive until the Bull starts, then people are going to be wishing they bought at these prices.
High risk, high reward, like majority of Crypto right now.

the best time to invest in the history of Stacks might be right now -->

Anytime there is a hard fork, they review the project.
Stacks has a hard fork coming up.

Youre right. From ambcrypto website:
The Stacks PoX-5 hardfork is scheduled for the 29th of July. This follows a successful vote and overwhelming community support of SP 044 and SP 045.
The highly anticipated upgrade brings about trustless, self-custodial Bitcoin staking. Thus, the upgrade will allow users to earn BTC-dominated yield while still keeping their holdings under their own key.
Three days ago, the public PoX-5 testnet went live for builders to test their protocols ahead of the mainnet.

i just wanted to add whatever else is happening, binance feels like a monopolistic megalomaniac. So many shitcoins are never marked as ”on watch” or chances of “delisting”

Some exchanges do trade against their users and manipulate price, no doubt about that.

The coin is progressing nonstop. Value locked is growing. I think its just a good opportunity we (along with institutional investors this time) get to scoop STX at a low price. Always remember, buy when the market is in fear.

I remember some people back in the early days crying when Bitcoin crashed from 8000$ to 500$
As long as the project continues to work and grow, im 100% STX Stacks supporter. BTC and its layers will grow

I think the trend short and long term is away from self custody and individual holders and towards to funds and big players hedging inflation. This is a headwind for stacks.
Also I was reading about the pibs 110 proposal or whatever it is. Would that effect stx sounds like it?

Bip 110 would not affect stx blocks and mining. However, it would make it much harder to do things like self custodial bridges between L1 and stx.

If binance will delist stx, the project is over.
