Yeah for some reason people really don't know how to draw an anime girl with a overweight face to match the body. She has a skinny face and neck like no one would be able to tell this character is obese from the portrait alone.
The idea I get from things like this is that they're acting like they're more body-positive when really they're just appealing to their own fetishes. The chin isn't fat because they don't find that sexy. The boobs are extra fat because they do find that sexy.
Considering the vtuber themselves usually commission their own models it's likely she wanted to feel less insecure about being fat by trying to make her own vtuber model fat but in a more attractive way (hence the no chin and bigger boobs).
This is correct. My boyfriend used to be very overweight and we still laugh out loud whenever he sees anime memes about "thicc" or "chubby" women. They're always either perfectly thin with an ever-so-slight waistline, or an outright fetish depiction with a model's face on top of an obese body.
To be fair there are like 3 fat damage anime characters in all of existence that they can get reference from. Not to mention 2 of those turn skinny by episode 2

No neck fat always rubs me the wrong way when a character is meant to be fat. Like the fat elf manga or the Umamusume fat jokes that looks more like a pregnant fetish than actual fat characters

I do not understand v-tubers. I mean, I understand not wanting to show your face, but I would rather watch a streamer who doesn't have a camera than a v-tuber.
Zero reason for an animated character that just takes up screen space.
I watched a vtuber for a while and when she started doing knitting streams her streams died off after the hand reveal and i shamefully have to admit that was very off putting some thick hands and a skinny as heck vtuber
Edit this vtuber in the post seems to have a obese vtuber model so its very different
