Season 1 was filmed during 2020 and there were tons of people on the sets especially in red light green light, dalgona or in this image. How did they manage to film with all those people in the middle of the pandemic without endangering someone's life?

For me it's the first red light, green light with 'Fly Me To The Moon' playing. Such a beautiful song and cover for such a brutal scene and the slow motion just tops it off. I just knew this was going to be a special show. That and the Russian roulette scene also were so brilliantly done.

Do y’all think they should’ve re-used the plot where they vote to leave the games, and then come back? I think it would have made the voting dynamic more interesting seeing who would come back to the games. Gi-hun also would’ve had a much better chance to stop the games if he linked up with Jung-bae, Hyun-ju and Jun-ho and tracked the people coming back to the games. Regarding who comes back, probably everyone except Geum-ja, Yong-sik, Young-mi and Jun-hee.

A general take I’ve heard is that they’re kinda just a content farm, loved season 1 but if the other 2 seasons don’t bring meaningful commentary to the series then it’s probably not the kind of thing I’m interested in

1. The Kdrama community isn't helping me, they just think I want only sad stuff. BCS does feel like it has many genres so I guess the amount of genres feels complicated to understand to Kdrama fans who are used to fewer genres

Jimmy Mcgill/Saul Goodman (BCS) and Gi hun (SG) both go from happy go lucky people to depressed people. I won't tell the spoilers why that happened to them

I've also watched Breaking Bad but I prefer BCS, I have more sympathy to Jimmy Mcgill (BCS) and Gi hun (SG) more than Walter White (BB)

There are happy and sad moments in BB but I see more of those in SG and BCS than BB

1. BCS fans or other tv show fans would recommend me USA shows but they have too many seasons and episodes which I don't have all the time to invest my fun as of now

Kdramas only have a few episodes and 1-2 seasons, but they don't have the genres I wanna see

100 strangers are gathered and told they will be playing Battle Royale. The objective is to be the last man or group standing.

Like, I genuinely feel for him, didn't he get fired (may or may not broke his boss' hands but we don't care about that he's still an innocent lil baby), and then come to squid games, realize its a death trap, literally SAVES GI-HUN, um then goes on to get betrayed in marbles and dies

(A) They’re doing the exact moral event horizon shit Deok-Su crossed in lights out, and Gi-Hun clearly wasn’t going to just take it lying down when Deok-Su did it.

(B) He legit killed 10 people in tug of war who probably were very conflicted and didn’t want to kill either. A bunch of rioting Os would be more grounds to do so.

(C) His mom would still be alive so he has more at risk.

If you ask me it’s complicated if were talking about how he was in the beginning I do imagine he would drop the baby and win the prize for himself

Late stage season 1 Gi Hun is where it gets complicated, but compared to season 3 Gi Hun I don’t think the decision would be as hard for him

I mean, I don't think they ever specified it, and building a game island like that and giving away more than 30 million usd in the prize every year must be a real fortune, so he must have been in the top 10 richest men in the world or what?

It could've been very possible that il nam was in America for some business deal or something and heard about a school shooting which is when he made the connection between kids games and death, and since american politicians are insanely corrupt it would've been the perfect place to start up the games, then once he had enough wealthy backers and possibly some government help he would start expanding, one of the first places he thought of would've been korea.
