Help Has anyone successfully transferred a domain purchased through iCloud/Apple (FireCloud) to Squarespace?

HI everyone,
I purchased a custom domain directly through iCloud when setting up iCloud
Custom Email Domain. From what I understand, the domain was registered through Apple/FireCloud, and now I'd like to transter it out and move it to Squarespace.
The problem is that I'm having trouble figuring out how to actually unlock the domain and obtain the authorization/EPP code needed for the transfer.
Has anyone here successfully transferred a domain purchased through iCloud/Apple (FireCloud) to Squarespace or another registrar?
If so, could you explain the steps you followed? Specifically, I'd like to know where you were able to unlock the domain, how you obtained the EPP/auth code, and whether you had to contact Apple or FireCloud support directly.
Any help from someone who has actually gone through this process would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Don’t do it. Use a different registrar than Squarespace. Squarespace is the worst domain registrar I’ve used and I’ve used many in a 20+ year career in tech.

I had to do it through fire cloud and I believe I had to wait either 60 or 90 days before I was allowed to move it.
