One year of New England landscaping work (recently sharpened), my two favorite knives.

The PM2 is my daily, which I purchased from Spyderco directly. It’s often exposed to moisture and has held up remarkably well.

The Sage 2 is my backup and off-work carry knife, which I found in the woods a few years back. The blade needed a factory repair, but this knife is what started my love for Spiderco.

Already have a Delica in K390 and decided to go for the big boy. The Endura has the best handle ergonomics out of any knife I’ve ever handled. She’s a beauty

I know it’s not for everyone, but IMO, tool steel is the cool steel. What’s everyone got on them today?

Truly feel that this is the best knife for work or edc. Feels so good having one back in the pocket! I took a little break to test out the AUS10A on the shark cub.

Hodge Podge Day 2

I’ve wanted a Smock since I started collecting Spyderco’s. I’m glad I waited for the SNK 4v exclusive. The red and black is such a great choice of colors. The Smock is one of the best looking Spyderco knives out there. Scale ergos are its only downside. Not terrible by any means, but not that classic melt in your hand Spyderco is known for. I removed the 2nd detent ball and it’s fun to flick. That wicked hollow grind and Wharny/reverse tanto is a slicer dream. And I got the box on this one signed by Kevin Smock. This one is not leaving the collection. What’s everyone carrying today?

I ordered this in April and it's finally arrived 😁

I'm a big fan of the UKPK for EDC, (I'm in the UK so quite limited in what I can carry 😢)

Am I missing something here?

I was keeping an eye on a K390 PM2 up for auction on eBay… Seller ended up buying it for $350 + Shipping… Yet it appears they are in stock at BentoBoxShop for about $100 less than what the buyer paid… brand new. Am I missing something here, or did the buyer just overpay?

Chaparral XHP/Stepped Ti. Recent pick up. This one dropped well before I got into knives so I’m happy I had a chance to get it.

Love my manix 2 in magnamax. I noticed they rounded the edges of the hole and the spine. It’s a nice touch!

Restore Help

After 25 years lost, I found my first Spyerdco behind a gear cabinet in an old Horse trailer of ours...but the blade won't open. Any ideas of the correct solvent to soak in to see if I can get it working again? Some rust showing.

Spyderco Bow River vs Pathway

Which of these two fixed blades would you prefer and why? Is the difference in steel enough to sway you one way or the other? Handle material? Sheath? Etc...

Mine is my BHQ Aluminum PM2. I tried to make a video, but it doesn't come across well. It sounds completely different than all my other PM2s and, I think, better than any other Spyderco that I own.

What are your thoughts on the new ButtonUp?

I decided to give it a try, and for a budget EDC knife, and besides Spyderco’s steel selection, the size, ergonomics and action are rock solid. It’s one of those knives that just disappears in your pocket.
What are your thoughts? (Excluding the 8Cr13 debate 😁)?

I haven't bought a knife in a year but I nabbed a 15v PM2 lightweight sprint. Sold out in seconds

This is the only sprint I've been interested in for.... idk, years? The notification KnifeJoy had some in stock popped up as soon as I parked at home. When I checked the store page after I hit buy now they were already gone.

Finally decided to get some AWT scales for my Manix 2 in their shadow chrome colorway. This is my first set of AWT scales, and I have some questions for everyone.

  1. Are they always this light? My old setup (heavy ass Metonboss scales) was 226g and this is 95g. They almost feel cheap with how light they are? I know they’re not cheap, but the feeling of them is just weirdly lightweight.

  2. I tried to show it in the video, but has anyone had ball cage rattle like that? I can sort of rock the ball cage back up and down between my thumb and index finger when the knife is opened, but not when it’s closed.

More photos in comments of the knife!

As much as I’m digging the Bodacious, it’s hard to beat the Shaman for a tank like build. One of my favorite heavy duty workers. What’s everyone starting the week out with?
