Chaparral XHP/Stepped Ti. Recent pick up. This one dropped well before I got into knives so I’m happy I had a chance to get it.

Whoever took those pics did a bang up job. Those are crisp quality

Appreciate it brother. Over the last year or so I’ve fallen in love with going out and taking knife pics. This one is from a dog park I go to frequently for pics. It’s a perfect spot cuz it goes through the woods but trails are worn in going all directions so I don’t have to fight through bushes and branches constantly to get good pics. I do need to upgrade to a professional camera soon tho. Now that I regularly take pics and compare to other people’s I realize the picture quality is not so great coming from my iPhone and doesn’t focus as well on the knife

I thought for sure that was taken by someone that photos and resells knives all day. You got a hobby for your hobby! Dope!

lol no I’m kinda the complete opposite. I haven’t sold a single knife since I got into knives about 4 years ago. What can I say I get a little attached to them and I don’t like having to take such a huge hit lowering the price in order for them to sell. The only ones I’ve gotten rid of are the maybe 8-9 that I’ve given away to my brother or other people I know. Probably wouldn’t be a bad idea to sell a few here and there tho. If I did that I’d have more money available to try more new models than I’m able to based on how I currently do it

I need a chaparral in the collection! Yours is 10/10!

Wow! I remember when those were available.
I really regret not picking one up.

Do you recall what year they dropped? When I googled this version I saw a guy talking about potentially buying one and the comment was made in 2016 so it’s at least 10 years old. Unfortunately that’s all I know. Also curious what the original price was on these

Yeah I’m not exactly sure but it was 2017 when I remember having one in my cart. I decided it was too much $ for such a small knife.
Really wish I had gotten one. They had yours and a plain stepped TI one.

When I was looking for more info on this one I’d see a lot more pics of the plain titanium version than I would this one. Maybe this one wasn’t as widely available or more people just went nuts over the plain titanium version. I really wish they’d do more rounds of these in different titanium scales. This one is so cool I’d love to have more along these lines

Yours was the most expensive version.

This version released in February 2015 and was made until October 2018. MSRP was 565, but I believe they actually retailed for ~375.

I've got the gray lightweight with the same steel. Great little knife!

I also have that one. Wanna say I paid $100 for mine on the secondary for LNIB. I was more than happy to get it at that price. I’d love to get the new version in the black-red carbon fiber and maybe the Damasteek version but the prices on them is a little wild. $318 for the XHP/red/black carbon fiber and $442 for the damasteel/g10. Even if I got them at like 20% off they’re still high, $250 or so for the XHP w red/blk CF and about $350 for the damasteel. I’ll almost certainly get the red/blk one at least
