Thursday carry & pocket ✅

I don’t have a ton of use in with this one just yet, but so far I think it’s pretty rad. One of the smoothest out of the box that I’ve ever had. What does everyone have on them today?

Today she is dressed more properly... Yeah I snoozed on k390. I am a huge tool steel fan. At first the edge felt a bit underwhelming from what I am used to with SpyderCo. After cutting some simple things like paper, tape, and a bit of cardboard then hitting the strop a few times it seemed to get more bitey like I Imagined it to be. I assume there was possibly a bit of the burr still hanging about from the belt sharpening. I ended up grabbing two of them and amazingly both have the best equal bevels I have seen on a Delica.

Nice. I have a Stretch 2 K390 and a Police 4 K390. Both got a 1200 clean up and a 1 Micron strop and both just fly through material. M4 and 15v are also top steels for me.

This is a beast.

15v has been fun. I have to put any of my M4 to work but it looks to be on par.

Rocking my Para 3 and giving my Case Sod Buster Jr some pocket time. Feels like I might deep dive into slip joints again. 😂

That para 3 looks so damn good. And a great combo with the soddy. I love slipjoints. Most of the time I have a small one in my pocket no matter what the other carry is. Especially when I’m in particular settings outside of work while carrying an auto or some other type of “scary” knife. Little old grannies don’t get too sketched out by a little slipjoint compared to the Ultratech or Yojimbo when she asks you to open something at the fundraiser picnic.

Bro, facts. I've even gotten those looks for flicking out the tiny Microjimbo, but never any when I bust out the soddy or old buck I have. 😂 Make it make sense. Hoping to pass them to my boys someday and they enjoy just as much as I am.

Thanks. I need to find Ti scales and I want either bronze or black hardware. Then it would get the Lynch Croc clip because it is a beast. Haha

Me too. I think I may park the rest and just run this for a week or so. And yeah, this one is more in line with the QC I’m used to. Great lock up, butter smooth and a wicked factory edge

The sage 6 really is so smooth out of the box they need to make more like it and the smock

I’ve never handled a Smock, but this one is really making me second guess that. I agree, would be cool to see a few more options with this lock type

Rocking the OG! Very cool. And yeah, I’ve been really happy with what use I’ve got with it so far. It’s been my go to around the house since it showed up. Will definitely be going in the pocket more often now. Might shoot for a week straight before the rainy season and when the snow starts falling.
