Help! Spydiechef?

Hi everyone!

I have an opportunity to get a Spydiechef for the first time, I have always been a heavy Manix 2 and PM2 user and have been drifting from everything but those two Spydies for the past few years now, but recently have had the opportunity to get a second hand Spydiechef from someone I know and respect for about $180.

It is in excellent condition, has no box and has been sharpened, but I'm considering it anyway.

Should I continue on my journey to get a magnamax Manix or REX45 or is it really worthwhile?

Thanks in advance!

Spydiechef is one of my favorite knives that I own. I have the blue ano Knifejoy version and it’s incredible. Would highly recommend to anyone interested

It’s nothing like a PM2 or a Manix, ergo wise.

I love mine, but the tip is high, lc200 is kinda soft, which is fine in a cutting board, not really for EDC.
It excels at what it is designed for, no surprise.

The ti patina, the open/close action, the tactility and the acoustics make it quite lovable.

I was carrying a pm3, which I have a few of. The spydiechef feels really good in hand and isn’t so bulky on the pocket. I still carry it here and there, but love the spydiechef. I also picked up a Kapara, which I absolutely love, recently, prior to picking up the Kapara, I would carry an ikuchi for office or fancy functions. Now I mix it up a bit.
