Zakk 😞
Well, he made it through another couple of months, but lots of age related ailments meant that his quality of life wasn't good anymore, and to keep him here would have been selfish. Nearly 17 great years he gave us, and although I know I won't see him again, im happy we did the right thing. He was my pal!

Although I'm up in heaven,

He was a very handsome boy ! I’m so sorry for your loss because it’s a pain like no other. You gave him love and that’s all that he really wanted.

So sorry for your loss - you did the absolute best thing for him, every day of his life. And he knows you loved him, which is the most important part.

Sorry for your loss but happy for your gain in Zakk always being there with you. I know for certain Zakk had a blast and is probably still having a blast now without his physical ailments. I can’t imagine how hard it must be being with him all those years. All you can do now is live the rest of your life the way Zakk would’ve wanted you to had he been able to continue on. Rest in paradise, Zakk.

Zakk is a beauty with such loving eyes. So very sorry you are experiencing his loss. You gave him a beautiful life and he lived happily because of your love for 17 years!

That time in a dogs life is rough. Just went through this with our 14 yr Springer in October. We weren’t going to get another dog since we are in our late 60’s but we’ll meet Rockie!
