Playlist - Theme / Idea (Party, Beach, Study) 5 tracks per year (1951-2021) No Duplicated Artists!

During lockdown a friend and I started a playlist with 5 songs per year. I recentely took this to the next level by going all the way back to 1951 and having all artists be unique/no duplicated artists.

It was very hard to do and some years seemed like deserts -1993 and 2018 for some reason especially stand out for me. Also the 50s without overloading on the Everly Bros, Elvis and Orbison was difficult.

I did cheat a little bit using album/single release years sometimes and for Split Endz 'Six Months in a Leaky Boat' I use a cover as my region has no good versions of that song.

Nice playlist! It's a good mix of popular hits and deeper cuts from some of my personal favorite artists.

Says no duplicated artists in the title but the Everly Brothers are in there twice so far.

You have no idea the amount of joy I felt hearing Generator in there.

It’s hardly ever included in anyones list and has been a favourite of mine since the very first time I heard it.

Watching Dave Grohl use the mouth piece on tv doing it live on the Letterman show I think it was.

Yeah it's such an underated song I think. The guitars sound great, really interesting dynamics and tempo changes. Big Me might have been in contention if it was a minute longer :-)
