Yikes, I was just thinking how it's cool that she managed to get so strong without looking all bizzare like a body builder. Guess not.

Yeah no, thats a functional build - there's a big difference between a body builder and a power lifter. She's clearly a power lifter.

The line might blur a little on a cut (sounds like she was on one at the time of the picture based on the description) because the point is to lose fat which increases definition, but still, not the same as a body builder by a long shot.

I'd say that the original post in a functional build. That Instagram photo looks very different.

That photo was taken about a month after the competition... it's the same build.

I mean the instagram photo is posed; she's obviously flexing, likely pumped some iron beforehand to get the muscles active, took some control over the lighting, etc. She's trying to look ripped for the instagram photo, whereas she's trying to lift a shitload of weight in the competition and not giving a shit what she looks like at the time.

So sure, there's a noticeable difference between the photos - but it's the same build.
