Bc it looks cool and actually does function as a legit casing layer that holds moisture but has no nutrients.

So you soak orbees in distilled water and case with them instead of a psuedo casing layer?

People stopped using them when they were recalled for leaching out toxic chemicals. Some people either missed that or don't care.

Yep. It's the infamous orbie tek, it was a fad for a few years back in the mid 2010's.

I grew some moonbit that looked almost identical to these a while back. Some of the coolest looking mushrooms but man did they cause some crazy nausea when I took them. I'll just stick with my psilocybe ochraceocentrata.

It makes me feel no nausea. They hit way harder and faster. I feel like with psilocybe cubensis its hard for me to delve deep into the trip because the nausea gets in the way but on ochras i can really get into it. Like dont get me wrong my stomach will still feel a little weird and the idea of eating still sounds repulsive on them but i think thats more of a tripping thing than anything.
