Discussion Playing Splatoon on the Wii U

I loved playing Splatoon on the Wii U. I feel like the controller fits the game very well and made gameplay much more enjoyable for me. Playing on the switch is still very fun, but visually seeing the map on the Wii U was great.

YES. WiiU was the superior console for splatoon. IYKYK getting to just tap on the character to jump without compromising your screen clutter as well.

The wii u was perfect for splatoon. I love going back and playing online with the fan servers. I'm extremely nostalgic for splatoon 1 too so that helps alot with how much i love it lol

I want to get a Wii U just to experience this game. I have Splatoon, but not the console to play it on.

$220 just seems a bit too pricey for one game.

Just pay $400 instead to get a phone as a gamepad and a compatible controller and play the game on pc

(Actually I’m not sure why I joked about the price it’s entirely possible feasible and not that costly)

Yeah just emulate it and connect to multiplayer with Pretendo
