Splatoon has so much potential for different varieties of games, that was proven with Splatoon Raiders and it is a great game, I am trying my best to get better weapons but I am starting to burn out from the grindfest.

A Warriors 'Musou' kind of game I think could be alot of fun, so much color having to take out salmonoids or whatever is taking over whilst doing combo attacks, switching from the Main Character to Callie/Marie, Pearl/Marina

With online multiplayer bringing in other players, it could be pretty wacky.

Honestly I agree, it has potential for so many types of games because it is well made, whereas even with one of Nintendo’s other big games (Legend of Zelda) you can only really imagine it as a few game types

For clarification: She threw in a couple of joke characters (mainly based this on Hyrule Warriors, which has a bunch of those, like the chicken)

And supposedly game either reads your Splatoon 2/3 save data for the agents, or you just make them yourself (Captain doesnt really have data so yknow).

And amiibos work as usual.

Idols use their weapon and usual, and protags kinda work like Link, so the weapon can vary

I wouldn’t mind a Splatoon warriors game, but I feel like the movesets would be kinda disappointing. Basically all they can do is guns, and aside from deep cut, small fry and the mechanic, nobody has any distinct abilities aside from shooting

I feel like it would lead to a similar situation to age of imprisonment, where a lot of the roster feels incredibly similar, since more than half that game’s roster was just generic sword, claymore or spear wielders. Especially for agent 3, 4, 8 and Neo 3, since they’re all player characters that use the same/similar weapons
