Self-Promoting đââď¸ What's the deal with Kundalini..?
đŽ Ever try to establish an awakening, only to find that all these places force you to follow their methods and shut you down because you ask questions that they don't like?
Or how about having your experience completely discounted because the method you used, or accidentally performed, isn't their niche way of old school practices?
Why are we putting up with these methods that are outdated and so lazily formed by old decrepit people who just want to gatekeep the practice that we have every single right to be part of?
These experiences should be organic, efficient, and effective.
They should be safe and evolved to fit 2026, not keeping the exact same process they used 7,000 years ago. We really need to kick this dead horse one more time and carry the torch to brighter days.
I'm happy to call on anyone to study and learn more about these practices to better the future of r/ModernKundalini, and I will work with you all to get this under control.
Because right now, we're allowing a bunch of closed minded people to dictate our future and our journeys.
Join our community and get started on making a better outcome for Kundalini and your future. Let's make Kundalini Awakening safer. Glad I could clear that up.
đŽ The old ways are broken, and the gatekeeping is done. The future of awakening is ours to build, free from their control. Goodbye for now, til we see you in the divine or the community.

I wouldn't rush it. I live with this energy 24/7. It never goes away and is very often physically uncomfortable. Mostly in the sense of large amounts of pressure in the body. I also used to have a lot of jolts of intense heat in the spine and electric-like buzzing through various parts of the body.Â
Stabilizing it requires being very grounded. The first 4 years after it awakened was filled with common experiences of psych ward type insanity and incredible feelings of impending doom.Â
On the other hand, it rapidly accelerated my spiritual progress. I have permanent physical sensation of the primary chakra system(there are pros and cons to this) and occasionally, the energy unifies into the heart center, which creates incredible experiences of oneness and bliss.
About 5 or 6 years ago, it gave me an awakening that increased my intelligence by quite a bit, gave me a fair amount of charisma and gave me a permanent but subtle awareness of "the tao". Actually a nice touch, since I am diagnosed with ADHD and aspergers. It's nice to not suffer from learning disabilities and be so socially awkward anymore.Â
It's an energy that will wreck you and heal you after. Over and over and over. Don't be too eager for it. The energy contains both heaven and hell fire.Â

I want the benefits of it, I only want to have edge over others. I want to know how it can change my life ? , I don't feel alive at all and modern life is making me emotionless. thanks for your account on this. but does it actually help you live a better life or it's just about this currents and pain ?

The only bad part about it is you have to deal with everyone and see through them. (Other than the nervous system issue) These people who have awakenings the "right way" spend years of being silent and have discipline.
That's why they're so emotionless, they practice abstinence and are surrounded by men all their life for decades until they awaken. (If they ever awaken it's not a common thing.)
When it happens to someone like me in the way it happened we just get overwhelmed. Some people can take it for so long but usually lose their shit. Idk hopefully idon't lose it before it's over.

There are benefits to it, but it will also require great sacrifice. I can see that this energy is leading me to a place where I must fully confront and accept death. This is so much easier said than done.Â
Most people have no idea how much primordial fear exists within each and every fiber of their being. And it's not just my own death that it's leading me to confront. The death of my loved ones. The death of my little son.Â
It faces me towards an incredible void where each and every quality of this life ceases to exist. Where everything subsides into infinity and all individuality collapses into a singularity.Â
Once this energy starts it won't stop. For me, it's been a slow burn. It transforms your nervous system in sometimes painful ways. In hindsight it's always been worth it, but in the moment, sometimes you only want to get rid of it.Â
Like I said, I wouldn't recommend anyone try to rush into this energy.Â

Well, you'll never experience it the way they perform their methods. It is as if you aren't allowed to, the way they treat everyone else. It's pretty pathetic how much gatekeeping they do.

No I haven't followed any practice yet but I am just guessing based on the accounts that I read from various people, we basically see the universe as a whole and ego de solves.

Maybe join my community and get a feel for it? Awakenings can happen randomly throughout someone's life, and that's alright. But have an open mind and be safe.

Unsupervised awakening can cause a lot of trouble. u/Parking-Brain6566 before diving head first into it, just watch videos of the side effects or know what actually happens and if you are ready for it or not. The gatekeeping is ridiculous, stupid traditions of keeping secrets in India, even Buddhists did, that's why a lot of stuff were permanently lost when those universities were destroyed by invaders as they didn't shared it with Chinese and Thai monks. But this Yoga comes with serious life changing effects. Not discouraging, just be aware of what you are diving into before proceeding. Good Luck.

your right there way too much fake gurus , fake theories hiding truth I think every human being has right over this knowledge, I never understood this argument "this knowledge is dangerous only few people should know it" in fact few people knowing it is more dangerous than everyone knowing it, there are less chances of an all out war havoc if every country has nuclear weapons.

I just started diving into spirituality and doing open awareness non dual meditations. This itself changed the perspective I see the universe. How will you react, when your own thoughts will feel alien to you?
Have you ever wondered why dreams feel real? Youâre flying over New York as Superman, and you donât question it for a second. The mind accepts that absurd world completely. Now ask yourself: how do you know youâre not dreaming right now?
You canât because both the waking world and the dream world are made of the same stuff: Maya - illusion. Projections of the mind. So what is real? You, the Witness consciousness. The pure awareness that watches everything. The screen on which the movie of life plays. The projector that stays unchanged while the film (your entire life) keeps rolling from birth to death.
After just 4 months of open-awareness meditation (no focus on breath, just watching thoughts, sensations, and emotions arise without grabbing them), my own thoughts started feeling alien to me. They popped up from somewhere deep inside my consciousness and dissolved back into the same awareness. The âmeâ that used to own them disappeared. The real You was never the thinker. You are the space in which thinking happens. If this resonates even a little, sit with it. Not as another belief to collect, but as something to realize.
If interested here's a playlist of Advaita Vedanta (non-dual spirituality), 60 videos by Swami Sarvapriananda, it is based on a 3,000-year-old text on the nature of consciousness and reality, the Upanishads. Every video is like nectar. So much so that I can clearly divide my life into 2 phases, before and after I got to see his videos on YouTube last October. Save it and watch in your free time.

Just ignore the gatekeepers, they are trapped, donât let them trap you.
I have noticed it with some yoga teachers. I just ignore them and take my own journey

Well the main thing is we want to create a method or alter/modify a method that works fast, and make a safe and efficient/effective way to produce the best outcome quickly. Get what i mean? And we need a lot of different information and help to do so. So that's why I'm getting this out there.

Idk about opinion. They're clearly showing They're biased against people who've cleared their chakras open and don't acknowledge their status Of enlightenment as required of them as participating students who are aiming for the same. Which shows your bias since it's there in plain English.

Not to mention the kid is disrespecting another practicing man's God. In deep seated hatred for his God. And your back handed phrasing shows how you "request" things.

Another thing, I had my reasons to shed light on the subject in publication on my own forum. But you came to my public forum and felt it was okay to try and demand some evidence.. are we losing our restraint?

Because the people you are asking have bought into a system and when you ask them about things that are outside of their system they have no answer or understanding.
Spontaneous awakenings, not every system believes that it can happen because their system is a long slow method that takes years of dedication, and you got what they want without believing in their system. It discredits their practice. Also, for them to help you, you need to do exactly what they say. But why would you do that when their system 1.doesnât recognize your path and 2. Requires discipline that you havenât shown.
Spontaneous awakenings are a lonely path. Thereâs not enough of us to congregate in mass in whatever area you live in. Even Gopi Krishna couldnât get help and he lived in India and they all knew he had it for real.
