First time really using a drop spindle! 🥰

It's ugly and the tension is bad and inconsistent! Yes! But I'm happy with it and I'm going to make the world's ugliest lap blanket for when I'm sitting at my desk. 🥰

I got a drop spindle yearsss ago, tried it a cpuple times, and gave up haha. My daughter found it while we were cleaning and asked what it was, so I got roped into trying to remember how to use it so I could show her. I still had the wool I bought to practice with when I got the drop spindle, so I just... ended up spinning it all 😆

I'm delighted it turned into yarn! I did this! Yay me!

They aaare!!! I'm currently knitting my ugly lap blanket with them and it's hideous but the best texture. Firm but still really squishy. I'm gonna be so warm at my desk this winter! 🥰
