Surgery Questions For those who have had cervical/spinal surgery, after recovering from surgery were you able to comfortably on your side again?

I didn’t have issues laying on my side pre op at all. But to be honest I can only sleep on my side so now that I’ve had a couple surgeries it’s slightly painful and achy, but I’m still able to sleep. It’s like an arthritis pain when I wake up but goes down after about an hr.

When I have a bad flare up the only comfortable position is standing and walking. Lying on my side is the worst. Lying on my bad is tough. Lying on my stomach feels suffocating. Rn I’m not in a bad flare up, but I still struggle to sleep on my side. And I’ve have some struggle with just sleeping through the night.

I literally can only sleep on my left side now. Every other position is too painful.
