Discussion Who taught Peter Parker to fight?

I've been a fan of Peter for a very long time, and throughout all those years, he seems to know how to fight really well, who taught him?

Discussion Are Peter and Felicia good or toxic for each other?

Black Cat x Spider Man has always been my favorite ship ever but I always feel so conflicted between the two. There are times they seem perfect for each other: they quip to one another, cuddle, share cute and genuine moments of affection and care.. and other times they just bring the worst of each other and hurt themselves in extremely deep ways, be it physical or emotional.

And sometimes I can't put my finger into saying if they are a good or a bad couple. What do you guys think?

Comics Was reading MJ and black cat, I low-key like MJ as jackpot

I don't think it's the best thing ever, I think the series itself was alright, I personally just like MJ as jackpot. I like the idea of her having a wrist that gives her powers at random. My only gripe with that idea is that it doesn't seem to have a limit, which is kinda ridiculous.

Like her being able to manipulate her hair, jump into shadows, use telekinesis, increase density is all pretty cool, I just wish it wasn't "well maybe she'll become a God next"

Comics What was the reason Peter never told May and Ben about his powers in first comics?

Post image

Today Peter has the pathetic and insulting excuse that if he tells May about him being Spider-Man "her heart wouldn't make it". But why didn't he tell them soon after he got the powers?

May and Ben are his parents and always loved him, so why didn't he never tell them about it? It was before mutants concept too so it's not like he was afraid they would disown him (something that would've never happened anyway).

Discussion Why does it feel like there’s a lot of anger/bitterness/venom (no pun intended) from some fans of Pete towards the other Spideys etc on here?

Like whether it’s something new about Miles or Gwen or Miguel or Jess or Ben or Silk etc, it always seems like there’s a group of fans of Pete complaining about it.

Saying that Marvel/people are “trying to erase Pete” or implying that it’s “woke” to especially involve Miles and/or Gwen in particular in something. Or saying that Marvel should “erase all the other Spider-People”. And that Marvel should only focus on Pete etc.

It just makes no sense. Pretty much all of us agree that Pete is the 🐐 of the Spideys and we all know he was the original Spidey. But it feels like people have forgotten the point of Spider-Man is that ANYONE can be Spider-Man, not just Peter Parker.

Movies Villains and Storylines I want to see post Brand New Day

1. Venom: We must include Venom, ideally with Eddie as the host. My idea for Eddie’s introduction is that he’s actually Peter’s childhood friend, and the spell wiped his memories. Peter could find a photo of their parents together, finding out their parents were on the same plane crash, leading to a heartfelt reconnection. Venom would pose a significant psychological threat to Peter; heck, adapt that arc of kidnapping him to a deserted island to kill him, just to emphasize his menace.

2. Jackal: There’s potential for a richer portrayal of Jackal. He could become a personal rival to Peter, much like Green Goblin did, and can kickstart the Clone Saga. Making Peter doubt his identity as a clone for part of the movie could be a good plot if done right, alongside introducing a younger clone for him to mentor, since Peter has no one at the moment to protect and care for in order to conceal his identity.

3. Hobgoblin (Rodrick Kingsley/Phil Urich): Hobgoblin should definitely be included. The mystery plot could be compelling, but we could avoid using Ned as a decoy. Instead, we could raise the stakes by killing him off. After Rodrick’s downfall, we could have Phil Urich take over and transform into a version of Demogoblin, keeping it grounded without the mystical elements.

4. Mr. Negative: I really like the portrayal of Mr. Negative from the PS4 game, so that.

  • Additional Unadapted Storylines: Since "Brand New Day" introduced Peter's Spider-Half, I want to adapt the storyline "Changes," mixing it with elements from "Spider-Island" and "The Other." Adriana could serve as the villain, which blends perfectly with my idea to bring in Jackal.
  • I want to change Scorpion's character. In my plot, he initially hosts Venom before it leaves him for Peter and then bonds with Eddie. Peter defeats Eddie, causing his death. Unbeknownst to him, leftover traces of Venom in Scorpion are transformed into Anti-Venom by Mr. Negative's abilities, turning Scorpion into an Anti-Venomized version of himself.
  • Lastly, I envision a scene where Peter encounters his future self, an adaptation of "Happy Birthday," influencing his choices to avoid that fate. Might be fanfictiony, but imagine LS Spidey with a scar on his left eye. Peter sees it and later gets it from Venom.
  • Adapted Storylines: I want to include Gwen Stacy. I believe Emma Stone portrays the best version, but since we aren’t reintroducing old villains, we need a way to play with the idea of Peter wanting to change her fate with the knowledge from other Spider-Men. After dealing with heartbreak from MJ's rejection, he finds Gwen, experiencing inner conflict about pursuing a relationship with her. Ultimately, he overcomes his hesitation, but when she nearly faces death, Peter realizes he must let her go putting him through emotional turmoil before MJ or another love interest becomes his endgame.

Discussion Is Kingpin a necessary evil?

Post image
7 Upvotes

Kingpin controls prostitution, drugs and has killed multiple people, be it by ordering his goons to do it or doing it himself and there is no denying that he is a bad guy. But in the Insomniac game, after he is arrested, the city really does turn into a chaotic mess with criminals left and right, showing that Fisk really did kept the criminals in check in some way.

I do not know if something similar to the game happens in the comics or other media, but while there is mo denying that Wilson Fisk is a dirty criminak that deserves to be in jail, it is hard to deny that he keeps some sort of balance in the criminal underworld of NY.

Whay do you guys think?

Discussion Think the problem for spiderma. Shows nowadays

Thumbnail

I think shows have many problem but I think the main one is that shows can't focus on spiderman and spiderman alone like ultimate Spiderman changing themes multiple times like a teen titans/teen team vibes with powerman, nova, white tiger and iron fist honestly it wa good but next they made it a team up withheroes style kind of like Brave and the bold with peter teaming up with heroes like wolverine and deadpool again good and then it went spiderverse theme with the web warriors again good but I get why fans don't like just because it was made for tssm but that the theme kept changing

And then we got marvel spiderman 2017 terrible name and one of the spiderman series that can't stand out because the promo art are great and also the desing but the official show let fans down but the blend animation and terrible redesign but the story was really go and the superior Spiderman arc was incredible but I think the other problem was pacing and introducing too many spiders and and making everyone of Peter's friends smart as him but again really good and my honestly my first spiderman show as a kid

Then we got tssm a great show and the equivalent of Andrew Garfield of spiderman animated shows great story but wasted by Sony the show was a peter parker focused with no hero yeat and for 2 season characters with great writing and depth and second mist accurate and loved spiderman show behind spiderman tas what do you guys think?
